Great to hear from you Uncle.
Those "analogs" sure do have a way to nag at us.
Another story -- I didn't really want to quit either -- but _______________(fill in the blanks), I decided to give E Cigs a real try---to cut down my smoking. After my morning smoke, during the day I grabbed the e cig first. ICK. Did it anyway. I'd "smoke" a whole cartridge and give myself an analog or two for a pallet cleaner!
My smoking reduced dramatically & amazingly easily --- so then I concentrated on cutting back & continuing that trend as I then decided it would be a good idea to actually stop the analogs.........and amazingly did within a month of starting vaping.
I, too, could write several paragraphs as the adventure continued....(various PV's, tons of flavors, battery paranoia etc.)
But, I'll skip most of that for now and just say that I was shocked and amazed at how rapidly the body felt better and that became the real inspiration. (& yes, there was some withdrawal to my surprise) The analog nag did continue for quite awhile but did slowly subside with it currently only being an occasional twitch.
Oh, I've got plenty of packs around and I know that I NOW could "try" one without worry of switching back. I also actually like hanging around with smokers.
Well -- I hope I haven't done too much of this:
Enjoy your adventure---and keep us posted!
