Hello to everybody,

As you can tell by my Join Date, I'm not exactly a 'fresh' new member, but rather this is my second go at quitting analogs using the e-cig.

The first time went well, however, at the same time that I quit smoking, I also quit drinking alcohol. About three months later, I went out to the bar with a few friends. Low and behold, two beers into the night I bummed an analog from a friend, and went right back to the hell that is smoking.

I used to have a small 510 model I believe, and it proved to be flimsy, time consuming, and not very efficient. I was getting little battery life, small amounts of vapor, and constant drip in my mouth.

This time me and a co-worker/friend have both bought the SmokelessImage Volt Starter kits, and what a difference!!

It's only been a few days, but I am truly loving the vaping experience once again.

I would love some input on some good flavors to try as far as carto's and e-juice go. So far we have ordered the Vanilla, Watermelon, and Menthol Burst from SmokelessImage. Although I'm not a fan of menthol, the burst was ok. I really like the Watermelon and Vanilla. I'm looking for some fruity flavors, as well as some sweet flavors. Also it wouldn't hurt to have one good tobacco flavor to kick the on-the-spot die hard analog cravings when they do arise. The amount of vapor production also seems to be very important to me.

Any input is much valued.

Great to be here, and I hope to get to know this forum well. :)

I have the KR808D-1 too. To me the best cartomizers are Boge if you want a regular carto and the G6 clear cartos if you want to see how much juice you have. I've got some Passion Fruit e-liquid from Ms T's Bakery in the closet and it smells GOOD; gotta let it steep a few more days before I can taste it though. A good sweet one is French Toast (35%VG) from Quick nic Juice and Johnson Creek's Tennessee Cured (their Red Oak line is 100%VG) tastes like a Black & Mild dipped in butter and caramel.

I've been vaping a lot of juices from Pink Spot Vapors. I have no idea what the PG/VG ratio is, but I get tons of vapor from them. Their Signature Pink Spot flavor is really really good!

If you want vape heaven, be sure to try out Ms. T's Snickerdoodle and Kick Bass Vapor's Rice Krispity Treat!

My wife and I love pink spot too. My favorite is the Geogia Peach. The honey tobacco is a close second or maybe the almond joy. Anyway my wife refuses to order from anyone else. Nice to see my favorite juice mentioned here. BTW my pv is an ego T with duel coils from Madvapes, been vaping for six weeks and no cravings for analogs since the first day.

meeeee toooo....

i dont know where to start as far as flavors go.

I think I might order my next shipment from deejstuff... seeing as they have the largest flavor selection for what I'm looking for, as well as ratings on the intensity of the flavors.

Still looking for color carto's other than heavengifts pre-filled... blank color carto's would be best. I'm not sure about skinning them with adhesive skins or stickers because it will make the carto considerably thicker than the battery i would think.

Now that I've found color carto's and color endcaps as well for my Volt (which is all the modding I plan on in the very near future),...

one more question...

I see a lot of members with the money saved/cigarettes avoided banners in their signatures.... but im having trouble locating the signature part of my settings. is there a post requirement?

I have a similar story - I quit smoking analogs with the patch and was successful for 15 months then got cocky and figured I could smoke just one sickarette. Went to the local gas station, bought a pack of smokes, took out one and threw the rest of the pack away before I left the gas station.

To make a long, sad story short, within a couple of days I was buying four packs a day one at a time and throwing away all but one smoke in each pack - that's when I knew I was screwed, gave up and smoked full-time for another 12 years or so.

Every quit is different but I have a classic addictive personality and cannot give myself permission to smoke even one analog - after the first one it's easier for me to give myself permission to smoke another and so on - and then there I am, hooked on the damn things again. My lungs are pretty well trashed and although I know I could smoke another analog if I wanted to I'm fairly certain I don't have another quit left in me. For me and sickarettes, one is too many and a thousand's not enough :)

Kudos to you for making it back in the door - and good luck to you as well.

cheers -
