Hey all, researching my mod which will be VV with display and juice feed. Sourcing questions.. where to get small clear tubing to run from juice bottle? I've seen some mods that use a brass button to press the bottle instead of having an opening, where to get those?

Also, any good on/off buttons like the sliders on a battery box which will take higher amperage current.
And finally, recommendations for a micro switch to be able to switch the display on and off; momentary or straight on-off?

I'm thinking between 2 vv boards, Madvapes V2 & eBay's DC-DC Converter Board regulator In:3-30V Out:1.3-18V | eBay first post by Mamu. The latter has a very small brass screw on the pot for turning but I'm thinking of attaching a custom rod button to it made from a jeweller's screw-driver set because I think adjusting with a screwdrive is a pain. Anyone done something in terms off attaching to the pot screw. I'm gathering that board is more functional but the Madvapes one does accomodate a thumbwheel or alternative 50K pots. What are thoughts on that and what type of 50K pots could be used on that mod.

I use This pump (the top 10ml bottle) with a 1 inch piece of this tubing shoved in the outlet hole and epoxied to the bottle and this tubing which extends to my mouthpiece out of the box mod.

Trust me this works. One pump to the tottle bottle will produce 2 drops. For one drop you can reduce the bottle pump stroke with some jb weld or epoxy or just make a half pump stroke.

What do you use to pump the bottle, or maybe the question is how do you position that in a mod?

The way i made mine was with a radio shack project box and a 18650 battery. I just cut a hole in the bottom of the box for the bottle to stick thru and let the top plunger part rest against the screw standoffs. The width of the box with the batt and bottle prevents the bottle from kicking to the side when pushed. Hope that makes sense.

I have seen boxmods where the top plunger part was sticking out of the mod.

Thanks, I'm not planning a tactile switch, more an on-off switch so I can turn the display on for adjustment periods but off the rest. Here's a pic of the juicer button I'd like to source, or was this custom-machined? juicebox button.jpg

What are the dimensions of the bottle, total height and circumference?
