I was using a supper cheap soldering iron. Epoxy is currently drying, but took this shot before i filled it all in. The micro switch was bad (no continuty in either position) so i had to jump it out. This isnt a big deal for me because a on/off switch doesnt make or break the piece.

the nitty gritty

510 connector
red horn push button
14500 900 mah ultrafires in parallel

Knowing that i can vape for 18+ hours on 1 battery charge. Priceless

Nice to see a new modder . I am still a wanabe with almost all the needed parts ready to go . A few more to get before I break my cherry as the saying goes :)

if you dont mind me asking, what are you planning on building?

and also good job jbm. i removed the on/off from my first few mods for various reasons, but the all worked fine.

My first mod is going to be a VV Flashlight mod . I am going to use bstedh's circuit from this topic http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/191607-easy-okr-t-vv-mod.html and the flashlight from this topic of mine http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/195466-good-flashlight-mod.html

I just need to get a pot and a few resisters and decide how exactly to do the top where the lens was .

18+ hrs on a single charge, wow thats great.

Very nice. Can never complain about more battery capacity.

indeed. Comming from a rn4081 to this. It's a world of difference. Instead of carrying 3-4 mini batteries & a pcc + cartomizers. i carry 2 full cartomizers, 5ml of juice & this mod. Im good from sunrise to sunset of heavy vaping & most times into the night also. At a minimum i get 18 hrs of nice clouds of hot vapor. Towards the 18 hr mark i notice that it starts to fall off on heat, but still stronger than the 4081 at its best. I would one day like to see how long i really can stretch it. but i would have to cut back on my vaping significantly, which i would rather not do.

Another great thing is, i can take a HUGE hit. By that i mean more than a 5 second drag. There is nothing limiting the time the button is depressed.

Over all here is the break down.

Box - $2.00
conector - $2.00
switch - $1.79
batterys - $10.00
charger- $8.00
________________

figure $27.00 with shipping

________________

lets say labor is $20 per hour (i make more but for arguments sake)

1hr labor - $20
parts - $27.00

For $47 you cant beat it with a stick
