Good question. I have the clear and it looks like glass, but may well be some type of plastic, especially since they make them in different colors. I've been using it about 2 months and almost always with cinnamon. What will the cinnamon do to the tank? It's still clear looking.

If you want to figure out whether a tank is glass or plastic:

Take the tip of a steak knife, and try to scratch the tank. If it's plastic, it will make a groove (you might not be able to see it, but you will feel it with a fingernail). If it's glass, it will have no effect whatsoever.

HTH!

Welcome!

I ran in to a lot of the same issues that you're describing (with inconsistent performance) as I was running through the gamut of clearomizers available a year ago. The best solution for me was switching to cartotanks. I use the LR Boge Cartomizers in an IbTanked tank. Once you have a carto properly primed and in the tank it will work great for the life of the carto in my experience.

You won't need to rebuild anything or fiddle too much with this setup, just prime and use a new cartomizer (less than $2) every 15 - 20ml of juice.

I've run this setup on everything from standard eGo batteries to a VV iTaste MVP to a mech and while the performance does change a bit I found the vape with the eGo battery to be enough to get the job done so to speak.
