Trifecta - The jack type connection does not always make good contact, I can spin the connector 360 and see the light flicker. Honestly this reminds me of my first 510 passthru that had same issue. I will most likely never use this device due to this flaw, will just have batteries on charger next to my PC's.

Mint Cartomizers - To me it taste exactly like the Menthol Cartomizers (Love it)

555 Cartomizers - For some reason it taste like kabob meat (no I didnt have any kabob meat today). I can see where some would like this, I however am not a fan.

Kamel - Pretty much just like 555 above.

Menthol - Well this was my second order of Menthol, and I am still waiting on another order where I got 50 cartomizers of this coming. So you guessed it, I am a huge fan of this flavor.

Blue Battery - Very nice indeed, nice deep color blue. I am a fan.

Silver Battery - Should mark this a "Chrome" on the website, because it is Chrome. I am not a fan of this color, but it will do just fine sitting on the charger in my home office for use here. Sure wish this was the same color as the cartomizers when you remove the sticker from them. That would be ideal for me.

Have another order out there, will update when it arrives.

Interesting about the Trifecta. My dad has noticed the same sort of behavior on the one I have to get replaced. I thought it was because of the plug being lopsided.

Question for you he also mentioned that the auto part of the Trifecta is nowhere near as good as the regular batteries he has. Are you finding the same thing to be true?

Yeah, no where near as good as the BMF Autos.

Hrm this is sort of a shame. I wonder if its due to the fact that there is now also the manual button assembly in there. If that's the case I'm wondering exactly what the point of the manual part is since the benefit of a sealed battery is nullified by the fact that it also has an auto sensor. It be sweet if they made (and maybe its in the works) there regular MF batteries in the style of the Trifecta without the manual mode. I might take one of there current batts and see about whipping that up myself.

That's correct, it is from a dfferent manufacturer, and doesn't have the MaxxFusion advantage. Which is why we're not marketing it under the MaxxFusion line. But if it sells I'll be able to convince our MF manufacturer to make an improved MF version.

+1 on good idea, but needs some refinement. can report the same issue as well, bad Auto performance (have to continually suck harder than normal) and the plug in connector doesnt always make contact so its hard to use as a real passthrough. however, i have been using it in the car (not as a passthrough) and having the manual button on a bigger battery is nice. one more issue, the doubleclick to get from auto to manual seems to happen at strange times, not intentionally, so i will press the button and only get air until i realize its switched to auto again :p

for the redesign, not even sure the auto part is needed, but the switching needs to be improved so that it stays in one mode better. also the connector on the end needs to be redesigned since it is likely that users will unplug them since they are a battery and the hole in the end will almost certainly get pocket lint in it... just don't see the current design as very robust.

but very good idea and can't wait to see more :)

Based on the feedback I got from my dad whom this was meant for I couldn't agree with you more. Its a great idea but has several flaws. Id say the manual part should just be removed since its benefit is nullified by the auto sensor, and try to get the current auto battery manufacturer to make it.

The plug is a different problem all in its own. Your going to be hard pressed to find a plug that will fit in there, look good, and keep pocket lint out. Maybe some kind of trap door for the current plug could be designed? Or make the tip interchangeable, but that of course would just create one extra step that users likely wont want to deal with. Being so small its definitely a challenge.
