NEw Pcc ???? No lights

I just received my new mini Pcc in the mail today, downloaded the directions, charged it, put my battery in. Push the button-lights up for about 30 seconds then turns off
Doesn't look like it is charging anything to me
Anyone else had this issue?

Once you put the battery in, hold the button down for a few seconds until you see the bars on the left side of the display start moving.....hope that helps

correct ...hitting the button only activates the display.... you have to hold the button down for at least 3 seconds...to turn charging mode on.... this will be indicated as he said by the left side showing flashing bars.....


also please note...the display lights will go out in charging mode (to save pcc battery life)....however if the battery is charging the blue LED tip of the bat will stay lit up...

Thanks. Light went out , blue led stayed on. How do you know if it is fully charged?

the blue led tip will go out on the batt....and when you push the button twice....the left led will show 3 bars...

check something... where the two metal prongs are that connect to the battery, are they the same length or is one longer? when you hold down the button to charge, you will see a small "no battery" icon in the top left of the display... if they are the same length, it is one of the few bad ones out of a batch. send them an email and they should replace it for you.

with two short prongs it is not contacting fully. you will see it work properly if you put a very small piece of paper or anything very small between where the tip of the battery is and the notch, effectively pushing the battery onto the pins.
