Maybe I'm imagining this but I keep seeing new products coming out. Are companies just saying F it and releasing stuff anyway? Or was there some kind of rule about things "planned" before Aug 8 can still come out? Just curious, love new stuff!

Note the source of the announcements. None of the new items are from US manufacturers.

I don't think Chinese manufacturers give a rip about the FDA and their Deeming.
So vendors can sell stuff as long as it wasn't manufactured in the US?
It just doesn't feel like anything has changed except the age verification aspect of it.
Many items were rushed to the US market in limited quantities to make the 8/8 deadline for sale. That will likely represent most of the "new" rollouts for the next several months. What happens as far as new products offered by US vendors down the road remains to be seen.
The key is: what is the legal definition of a "new product" because certainly companies pushed ALOT to market before 8/8.
Ahh, gotcha. That explains the "pre-order" stuff that I know is already out. That makes sense. As long as you release a few it's not a new product.

I agree with what most of the above and too add. I know of one Squonk mod coming out (US Manufactured) soon that has been posted on here that the designs were submitted prior to 8/8 but haven't physically produced any as yet and will be out shortly.

What remains to be seen is how many shipments are confiscated by Customs. I have a friend who owns a shop, and has had one shipment confiscated already.
Don't know. I just know that he had a direct shipment from China confiscated. I don't know the contents.
It may not have been for products produced after 8/8 but "could" have been for incorrect paperwork for the products in the shipment. Unfortunately all we can do is guess at this point.
Undercover Nic police are roming all 50 states. Anybody caught with new stuff is packed off to Gitmo and waterboarded until they guess the base commander's favorite e liquid flavor (there are 7000 possibilities). Then you are sent to Syria where you have to drive a red Toyota pickup truck until you are blown up by a hellfire missle or you have to marry 4 women and after a couple weeks of that you want to blow yourself up.
I've noticed this as well. Perhaps they sold some units in the US before 8/8, but it seems odd that there are so many "new arrival" products coming out almost daily, it seems.
