hrm... while staring at which mods to get... a question pops up. Is the matte finish bits on the Kalafan edition a different matte than the matte addition? On site, they Kalafan looks darker... but other places, it seems the same. Any insights?

actually didn't do it yet... i just settled for the 650 size which doesn't seem to need that little tube/ring. It's what i want ... longer batt times for hi-drain situation (sub 1.0 Ohms).
but i'm sure i'll get around to wanting it with 500 or even a kick maybe... for 2.0+ Ohms vaping.
For me, 18650 AW IMR, a DID, set and go.

I do want to warn folks about it if it happens to you; i heard about some sharp edges, but that is just because this is a light but sturdy mod; light and strong. I thought they meant jagged edges - wrong - no defects, but its the thinness of the tube that can cut especially if you are spinning it in your hand to twist off the ring... not bad for me; just like a paper cut.
I also find that the just playing with the switch, getting a feel for how snug you want the battery, the locking ring will either get stuck or come free.

Loco can confirm but, as far as I know, it is the same - matte/brushed =matte/brushed regardless of the configuration.

I had mine stick once. I use it a lot and it hasn't again so, I chalked it up to being new and hitting the end of the threads.
If it sticks a few times for you, just be sure not to unscrew the locking ring all the way - depending on your battery, you should have the clearance on the button so the button doesn't push against the locking ring when you fire it. If you are hitting the locking ring when you push the button, it could be sticking because of the extra pressure. If that is the case, you may want to consider getting a longer post kit (and adding the accent ring) and only replacing one of the posts. that should be enough for the mod to hold the battery firm but still give clearance to the switch.

whats the difference of the flat upper cap and the one that comes with the nemesis?
The flat cap on the site doesn't have the air control in it. The one that comes with the nemesis does.

I'm not trying to be a complainer, but I'm definitely having more trouble with the website than you guys. I've been trying to keep stuff in my cart all day and it never sticks. I've done this from my iPad, laptop, and desktop using multiple browsers. More so, when I log in it changes my language to Greek, it never remembers my different shipping address, and the nice Add To Cart hover links disappear when I try to View more items on a page or when I go to the next page. I want to buy extra pins and the like, but I guess not at the expense of being eight steps behind everyone else and not getting a Nemesis.
I think I'm okay if I can periodically refresh for the next hour. We'll see if the website is restarted and if my cart empties when I lose my session, LOL.
