I have 3 nemesis and 2 69 and have never encountered the issues you are experiencing. My VW from this batch works flawlessly, perfect threads, zero issues. I am running a kayfun on it now. I guarantee if it was a widespread issue, you would see much more noise here and on other forums and on facebook. So far, all that is being posted is pics and comments of mods working perfectly.

Check to make sure the top pin is touching the atty and then make sure you dont have any battery rattle. Remove the accent ring if you need to.

Also - send a note to Katerina. It will get addressed.

Never had firing problems with Nemesis

Check if your contacts are well adjusted
Remove the kick ring if you dont use a kick(most times when i have a mail about firing this is the problem)

We machined them to the exact same cnc...yes some times they may need some cleaning but appart from that not much you should do..

In any case though if you experience any problem send me a mail with photo or video showing the problem at info@atmomixani.gr , i ask Michalis to see everything that people send to me and i ll mail you back.

I just sent you a link to a private youtube video I took earlier. A fellow ECF member just happened to stop by tonight that is well knowledgeable about mods and witnessed the Nemesis issue's first hand as well. He was trying to get a Nemesis to fire repeatably as well with no luck.

There was no kick ring used as it was in 18350 mode right out of the package. I screwed a tank on then adjusted the center pin to make contact with the atomizer. I then installed the battery and screwed the tailswitch assembly on until it was snug. (no battery rattle)

Both of mine just arrived the threading for the tailswitch is so tight it taking shavings off the brass and both are filled with brass shavings. Also the bottom vent holes have burrs so bad that a AW 18350 wont even fit into the tube. Thanks god I'm a machinist!

I will say out of all the mods I have seen the tailswitch design is the best I have come across.

My 2nd (VW edition, first being recent VR edition) just arrived and I am in a similar situation. Switch was grinding as I turned it. Took it apart to take a look and I see brass shavings. Not as bad as yours, but still not as smooth as my VR.

Edit: VW edition SN: 2712

What are the impacted SNs?

If there is a larger issue with QC and/or a mistake was made, please give information to Katerina and Michalis directly with pictures, video (if possible), and descriptions over email.

Send them the details.

I dont have the issues described (and haven't with any of my Atmomixani mods) but, some do and they are real - these guys have the best customer service I have seen in the vaping community. it will get handled. but, in order to do so, they need information.

Please pass it on to them.

Trying to fix it yourself (or even fixing it yourself if you have the skillset like I know some do) could potentially cause other issues. it's best if the details are passed along so the problems can be handled.

Received my nemesis polished this afternoon. Excellent delivery time (blows my mind that it was in greece just 3 days ago).

The tubes weren't as clean as the matte set I bought from vaperev a couple weeks ago, but were serviceable. The button threading was smoother than the matte as well.

The one odd thing i did notice was that the polished top cap will not thread my AC9, but the matte version will. Take the observation with a grain of salt as it took some chasing to get it to thread onto my GP Paps as well (it did eventually). The AC9 would thread on my provari as well as my other mods.

It could be that there is some thread flashing or grit in there, but it stops dead about 1/2-way down.

Any tips for getting all that gunk, grit, whatever out of the threads and tubes?

I had the same issue with one of mine. My Kayfun lite stopped dead 1/2 down. I luckily ordered a M7x0.5 tap from Ebay a month ago and it came in handy this evening. How is yours firing?

Mine was 2187 and curisu's was 3057. When he states "all that gunk" I bet that's all chunks of brass like I saw in mine.

To clean it out warm water a toothbrush and some dish detergent works wonders.

Yep. you guys posted yours. gh0zt didn't initially. thought it might be helpful to include them.

Curisu - did the centerpin adjustment help or no?

Chipping in to the conversation, I bought the Vaperev special edition and I can't say I'm thrilled about the threading – in fact, while the battery holder looks beautiful and I love the adjustable top and bottom pieces, some of the threads are more akin to $50 Chinese clones than a $200 premium mod.

The GG Ithaka in comparison (yes it's an atomizer, but I'm referring to the threads), works like butter when you assemble it. On the Nemesis, I had to use Vaseline inside the button to make it stop grinding and to be able to hit it a little bit off from the center. Talking about grinding, to some extent, the same applies when I try to get the fire button into the tube's grooves, the lower brass locking ring (noticed a chip on the SS tubes threads) and the top of the center brass kick ring (that one is the worst by far).

It's not that you won't assemble it, but it's rough around the edges, if you know what I mean.

Just to be clear, I haven't contacted Atmomixani or Vaperev, so I'm not passing any judgment on their customer service.

With any manufacturing process there are bound to be a few nicks here and there. But from what I've heard atmomixani's customer service is amazing, so I'm sure you'll get taken care of. That being said, (not bragging) mine was perfect. The threads are amazingly smooth and the button is the same way. From what other people are saying contact them and it shouldnt be a problem.
