Well looks like I spoke too soon! I just got an email requesting payment! I was shocked. Great service by these guys. Nice that this experience ended up turning around. I let my frustration get the best of me a little to early 0_o

But 1st things 1st, would like to see the Loki in action with my Killers and let's not forget the Dome...exciting times ahead!

Also, since we're at it Loco, what did you mean by gapless?

Not to be a low spot but. I anticipated a great day. My honest review and don't want anyones feelings hurt.

I am much dissapointed in the Nemesis. As I have owned and own many higher end devices I have a bit of exp with them, so please understand that I was expecting more. I ordered the Matte and own a few very nice matte finish mods. The Nemesis finish seemed dull and had a close friend, very reputable, desribe it as a dirty matte. I see this finish scratching very easily. The threads are very easily scratched unless one very slowley mates the female and male together and with ultimate care finds the thread to screw on. My threads have scratches upon delivery. There is also a white fog on the outside of the threads that after a steam clave and polish will not remove.
More bothersome to me is how the thread rings were were attached to the tubes as well as when the entire device is together, you can see each piece where they connect from the outside. Im not just talking about the threaded pieces but every piece welded or mated on the tube from production. That is dissapointing in a mod with such a future. I would gladly of paid $75.00 extra for none of that.
Aside from the fact that I have been looking for the brass(key)pin in the carpet for 45 minutes and cant find it because the button was a bit sticky and I was wondering why.

And let me add that their other devices are no less than awesome and beautiful.

Again, sorry to be a downer.
Be Well

After I cleaned mine with some hot soapy water and a tooth brush, all the threads are buttery beyond belief smooth. I can sometimes spin the locking ring with one push and get it to open or close all the way.

As for the look on the outside why don't you share some pics here. I'm not quite sure what you are referring to.

I agree that the pin can be lost, but I watched the video with disassembly before hand so knew to be extra careful. I can understand how that could be frustrating.

Just so we're clear, I'm not trying to say you are wrong about yours, only that mine is my favorite mech for a number of reasons.

No, Thank you for your post. I appreciate the non hate post. I'm too tired of those.
I washed it well in appropriate soap and placed it in a steam autoclave for a better cleaning. The threads are ok but when received it looked like someone scraped the male and female threads as there is a couple of shiney scratches across the threads.
As far as the Matte, its not aweful, I just expected it not to be as dark. There are several matte finishes that are a bit "lighter"? For a lack of a better term. I had heard from other owners that the outside edges on the button are a bit on the sharp cut side. I think the cut is great but, the button just sticks a bit. I love the idea and it is such a good concept and solid. just sicks a bit for me. I also am not a fan of a brass pin that 5/10 people will lose when they replace springs. Most wont even know they lost it. I found mine finally with 2 vacuum cleaners and a steal mesh strainer after an 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Anyway thank you for your text and i know this mod will work for the masses. It is just not for me.
Be Well
