My second hand provari that I bought from another ECF member came in today. It's a black regular sized with the extended cap. So far, it seems to be living up to all the hype. I've had a chrome lava tube and a SS vmax both die horrible deaths prematurely. I figured that since I'm so hard on stuff, I'd be better off spending the money on a more solidly built unit. My only gripe is that the extended cap doesn't seem nearly as nice as the normal bottom cap.

I felt the same way about the extension cap on my satin model. It just doesn't look as nice. However after using both for awhile I've come to prefer the extended one. It doesn't have the cool chrome look but it's actually more comfortable on my pinky finger.

I'm not gloating on my foresight, but after considering a Provari for a long time, the deciding factor for me was the announcement of new satin colors. I also noted that the chrome Provari's were going to be discontinued, and since the chrome extension caps were still available, I bought one even before the new colors were available for sale. It wasn't too long after that the chrome ext were sold out, and who knows if they will ever be offered again?

I'm so happy I got one, it's a permanent addition to my Provari.

I bought the mini as well, and with chain vaping at times I wanted to have options so I also picked up the extension cap. I am really happy to have both for options, the chrome does give it a certain look, but the extension cap looks sleek as well and I can't believe how much long the difference makes with about 400 mahs. Also agree the extra length fits well in the hand.

I bet you could get 100 bucks for that chrome ext. cap on the classies. LOL
Not that you would want to, of course. :)
