My Reo was scheduled to arrive Monday, so I texted me boss to say I had an "appointment" Monday morning so I could sign for it... here it is! Copper vein LP mini 2.1 with an LP RM2, beck adapter & STR5 by Leo. Pictures do not do it justice...

This thing is amazing! No leaking AT ALL, totally pocket-sized, and I love squonking.

Wondering what everyone likes for the best flavor on the RM2... I'm getting plenty of vapor, but a couple of my juices seem a bit muted. I've got a 1ohm microcoil (28g, 7 wraps around a paperclip- very close to the deck but not touching, airhole lined up exactly). It's the best coil I've tried so far, just looking for more ideas...

I had pretty good luck with dual 1.8 ohm coils, .9-.95 ohm total.

I would try 7 wraps around either 0.55" music wire or 1/16th drill bit. That ID is as small as I go, don't really like the nano or super nano coils with cotton clouds. Do you have any other gauge wire to play with?

Thanks you guys! Yeah, I have very small hands- that's why I got the mini.
You can dual coil the RM2? Hadn't thought of that... probably reduces battery life, yeah? I do love trying new builds. I have 30g, 28g & 26g kanthal & use organic cotton balls.
I don't know what I was thinking... spending MORE $$ on vape gear, but I could not resist the copper vein! It is very classy. I was really on the fence about getting the regular RM2 or the brass finish. I ended up with the regular so all my ss drip tips would match. I can see how you all end up with "families" of Reos!

I use twisted 30g in two of my Reo's. Kicks ...!

I am now using 26g, 5 wrap on a 1.4mm mini screwdriver, running .55 Ω. It's kicking some ....! I never tried twisted wire, but I'll have to try it. As far as flavors are concerned, I've been diluting my flavors with 50/50 VG/PG, 12mg unflavored. I've been a coumarin pipe fan of MBV for a while, and cutting it with 50% unflavored really helps with increased flavor! I also do the same thing in my other Reo running a cyclone at .7 Ω, with H1N1 Virus. Those are the only 2 flavors I've run in my Reos.

At any rate, welcome! I know you'll be ecstatic with your Reo. You'll just have to play with it a bit to find your best setup, but 1 Ω is good. Love the copper vein!

Congrats and welcome! The CV is a great look, the sexiest, IMO.

My favorite build is parallel 28 gauge, 4 wraps around the largest flat head driver in my jewelers screwdriver set (I really need to measure it sometime ) Comes in at .4 ohms and the flavor and vapor is unparalleled by anything else I have built.

i just wrap two wires side by side on the same wick - i have no idea if they are now called parallel coils, since they are duals in the electrical sense anyway.

I've done it for ages on very fat silica wick (4-5mm) and using 4 wraps of 32g like the pic hits 1Ω dead on. Running 'conventional' duals on an RM2 is going to be awkward unless you drill more airholes in it.

I agree with wheeler…try diluting your juice with unflavored base and see if the flavor does not increase. I use a 25/75 ratio. 25% flavored & 75% unflavored. I find that I have a much better tasting juice.

Y'all are so dang nice! Turns out 26g is where it's at for the moment... this 12 wrap monstrosity that barely fits into the RM2 (.8 ohms)- it's perfect! Crazy how the wire gauge can make such a difference. I'll also try the parallel & twisted coils soon & let you know how it goes.

So... wait... you're telling me that you add unflavored juice to get MORE flavor? I just don't understand how that works. But hell, I'd try it- it sure would save me $$ on juice.

Welcome to the mad house of happy vapers. Congrats on the Mini. Yeah the RM2 brings out the flavor and many of our DIYers cut back on the flavor because of this.

.... There are not many mods out there that would prompt people to own more than one or two ......

I don't think there is any mod out there that folks have 10 or 30 of except REOs
Heck there are not many genuine mods that you could even find 10 of without paying flipper prices.
