New riva 510 batteries appear to have a problem

It's not just liberty flights rivas with the problem because I had a smokeymizer from totally wicked blow both my tornado tanks and wouldn't replace them excellent customer service those guys!!So I have a vendor who lives about 15 miles from me and ordered a ego battery 1100 mah specifically asked is this a genuine joytech ego battery yes she said!!So I go to the post office and meet her like a few times when I was desperate and had to have a couple attys and she hands me this beautiful chrome "ego" and I liked the looks of it so much I said nothing about it not being a ego!!Anyways about 2 days latter after carefully following instructions I called her and told her what it was doing.Take a hit then the next hit nothing but a flashing button 50 fecking times every time this happens.But the weird thing is sometimes it's 1 puff 3 puffs 9,13,47,hell it woked all day yesterday the replacement one did.I think she thought I was crazy but agreed to replace it!Well I tried to pull the center post up a little and fix it but no I don't know what the hell is going on.It just so happened I was sick the day I was supposed to meet her for my replacement so I asked her if I could have my sister bring it up there to swap,and she says something isn't right this doesn't look like one of my batteries because of the scratches down there in the threads were I had used a micro screwdriver to try and pull the center post up a little probably like if you took a little flat head when your having connection problems to scrape it and rough it up a little to troubleshoot that I don't know.So she tells my sister obviously I had used the same smokeymizer that ruined my tornado's and expected her to exchange it but she would this time but not if anything is wrong with the other battery I'm just sheet out o luck!Well guess what the same thing happened 2 day,just works when it wants too??Just about to email her and check my email and have a message from her stating Hi Thomas

After careful inspection of the battery you returned to me, it does not appear to be one of our batteries. It is older and full of moisture, sand and grit. The inner pole is stainless whereas ours are gold plated with ridges around the inner pole.

Even if this were to be one of our batteries we would not accept a return in this abused condition.
I picked up my replacement and the riva's and knock off rivas have the brass connector but yeah they come with brass or brass "GOLD PLATED" atty connector switch and brass looking end peice but after 5 or 6 days use that gold spray paint wears off cause the replacement is no longer has a gold plated pin in the middle unless she would put those cokebottle lens glasses on tighter to her head in the very center of the pin I can see a little bitty 24 kt gold circle but all the surrounding gold on the pin is back to stainless unlike my titan "joye" 510's boge,Iken,quality center pins haven't faded!That's the only reason I bought the pos!!Chrome and brass shiny like a ggts well you get what Im saying?? Oh yeah I forgot to mention she sent me another email saying I have to pay for the replacement she sent for the other one HaHa!!What the hell am I saying it don't work either I mean set and tell me a genuine ego battery with a white soft blue led button and gold or brass colored switch with end cap come on!!But instead of raising hell getting banned from totally wicked's forums for telling someone the way I feel just wasn't worth it!I never sent a reply but I dare her to call or send me a bill!!Well looking 4 a new vendor I buy alot but you have to replace it for free at least twice just kidding hope that brought a smile to someone's face!!Happy vaping

this is one of the reasons I like liberty flights, they take care of their customers although they can be a little slow to answer emails. but if there is a problem, they get it fixed. the prices are probably the cheapest around, the shipping is dirt cheap and they can get me stuff from california usually in 2 freaking days where other vendors manage to take take 6 days for the same money because they charging the same for firstclass that liberty is charging for priority.

i remember when the royal smoker clearomizers came out and I ordered a pack from volcano ecig. I was probably one of the first customers to get them and they were one of the first vendors. all 5 cracked in like 24 hours. turns out those things couldn't handle cinnamon juice. you'd think I was using some special mixture or something. anyway, it was like 6 bucks to ship so I basically through 18 dollars out as they said too bad they won't do anything because I didn't use their magical juice and I used juice from tastyvapor that probably 50% of this forum uses. I could understand if this was a known issue and was posted on their site, but it wasn't and they should have replaced them and then posted a warning on their site. Heck they should have been thanking me for discovering the problem.

Wow, I was close to ordering that Tankomizer setup from Volcano, I just happened to stop by here first and have heard nothing but negative comments on them. Great advertising though! Isn't that usually the rule of thumb? Good ads = bad chiz?
