What is a right and responsibility to customers? Using proper wording like?
In this case, assuming their understanding of Law in reference to tobacco products and in response to customer complaints on e-cig usage in store(yea, it happens) along with press/government/Anti's pressure, it might go something like:

Use of lighted tobacco products or E-cigarettes not permitted.
*with the 2 international circle Slash symbols in place accordingly.

Hey, it is their stores and their customer base. I have no issue with Proper signage. It is simply there to show those that would complain, they have taken action.

Sign Sign Everywhere a Sign:shock:

Sooo....................I Email Walmart and pointed out how, while agreeing they have a right and responsibility to Customers.............They need to post their signage with more proper wording.:D
Having had the dubious pleasure of emailing Walmart
several times regarding all kinds of stuff from
poor customer service to dangerous conditions in their stores
I doubt your emails will do any good. They even ignored my pointing out they published the wrong items in their back to school requirements for
Dade County Public Schools, that led to thousands of elementary students
not having the correct tools on the first day of school.

In fact, if you research Mrs Walton you'll see why..
It's interesting that Walmart managers are among the highest paid in the US
but I've found two who did not know that .25 and one fourth or quarter are the same.
You want correctly worded signs?
Maybe they can work on their grammar and vocabulary after
they get basic math down pat.

Oddly enough, the first time I ever saw a 'No Smoking, Including E-Cigarettes' sign was on the wall of the meeting room of our local VFW. I was there for our quarterly Golf League meeting. I found it strange, only because the VFW is probably one of the most conservative, anti Big Brother organizations in existence, next to maybe the NRA.

Your surroundings should tell you all you need to know...just because there's no sign posted it doesn't mean you can, it's just common sense...you're in a {moderated} market.

Just common sense you can't go thru a public Supermarket or Resturant blowing huge clouds of "Stupid" everywhere and giggling ............vape out in the car until your eyes bleed and then refrain inside of a public place............just common courtesy............

I keep it simple, no smoking=no vaping=no problems. I sure hope those two boys are not a representation of the vaping community.
Well, by vaping, they are part of the collective of vapers, so their actions do represent vapers in their circle of existence.

I wish I could do that. However they have become about the only game in town except for overpriced grocery stores.

When I became disabled and forced into retirement, I learned to respect the selection and savings Walmart offers.....................I have a younger Daughter-in-law that is happy to shop for me :lol::lol:

Though I did rush there yesterday..........Anniversary and no card:shock:.....40yrs down the drain, I think not - Take the challenge. :D

I don't like shopping in general; much less WalMart. I avoid it if at all possible, especially if I can get Mrs Rule to go for me. But when and if I have no choice, I'm in and out. I go as quickly as I can to whatever I'm there for, and then to the checkout. I've never understood people who go to WalMart and wander around. Mrs Rule will do that; but I just don't get it.

One thing that has intrigued me is where are all these customer complaints.
We assume customers are complaining but, every government meeting or discussion I
am aware of at the government level never mentions customer complaints.
Of course we all assume customers are complaining. I myself am not aware of
any documentation tracking customer complaints about others vaping.
I am not saying this info doesn't exist. i just find it odd that something this
important isn't plastered hither and yon across the interwebs.

Mike

I can guarantee information exist(on no particular matter) as I have voice my opinion in emails on several occasions.

Got plenty of Free replacement food from several Fast Food Stores by Complaining on screwed up orders too. Complaints do work, sometimes. They just do not regularly get published or discussed beyond closed doors.
