I also can't find what areas members post. You know, you clicked on a member's profile and were able to to see which threads each member contributed?
Do you mean like when you click on 'more options' then find threads or content?

    Yeah... That's Gone. Progress

Just like you Can't See the types of "Reactions" a person has Given/Received.

But now we can see if someone Posted on Oktoberfest. So lets all Hoist One and Hail Progress.

    I mispoke, I meant forums.

It always fascinated me when I saw someone with less than a 1000 posts have around 100,000 likes. I go to their profile and click Areas and see they mostly post in The Lounge or Outside.

Where's the Oktoberfest thread? Links please.

I'm familiar with the @DavidOck toberfest thread.

Hmm. Just left clicked at your avatar, then selected "more options" down right, and maybe what your looking for is there? Dang, every time I try a screen grab the windows close... but lots of choices :)

In MacOS ^^^^^^ or Windows (maybe???)... Popup window panes stay open as long as your cursor is hovering over them. Try doing a screenshot with your cursor hovering over the popup.

On a smartphone or tablet popups stay open until you click elsewhere on a page.

There are alternatives. You can go to any Sub, from the listing of threads, hover over the number to the right of Replies. You will see a popup labeled Who Replied?.

    Screen shot 2022-10-24 at 9.06.06 AM.png

Click on the number to the right of Replies. You will then see a popup showing who replied in that thread and the number of replies that member posted to the thread.

    Screen shot 2022-10-24 at 9.07.13 AM.png

If you are looking for a specific member who posted in the thread, enter their user ID in the Filter field and that member will be displayed (if they posted in the thread).

The number to the right of each member is their number of posts in the thread. If you click on that a new Search window will open displaying all their posts in chronological order. The search results only go back 30 pages.

Another alternative is to hover over a member ID until you see the popup. Then click on the number just below Messages.

Except my "screen grab" app (Windows) requires a click to define the area, and the popups then go away.

Thanks for putting up what I was after

Is there still an area where people you follow appear online?
    Yes.

Go to your Member page. Click on About. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the members you are Following and your Followers.

    Your About page...

    Screen shot 2022-10-24 at 9.32.27 AM.png

When you hover over any of the member avatars a green dot beneath their avatar indicates they are online.

    Screen shot 2022-10-24 at 9.41.52 AM.png

The online status (green dot) will only be displayed beneath a members avatar if the 'Show your online status' in Privacy settings is checked (default setting).

    Screen shot 2022-10-24 at 9.40.31 AM.png

If it's unchecked then you cannot see if a member is online.

Thanks guys. But, specifically, when you looked at a member’s profile, there was a link named Areas. It would list how many posts were made in different forums going from most to least. Some lists were quite extensive, others not.

When I get home tonight, I’ll check the other vape forum to see if they are still doing it.

It would have been on that About page in the gray bar next to the other headers. It was simply named Areas.

They have a Post Areas located in each members profile.

When you click on Post Areas you get the following message: This user hasn't posted anything yet.
I have very many posts in a lot of Areas over there. The same message is displayed for a few other members I looked at.

Lots of Good Info there. Thanks for taking the Time to put them together:thumb:

There are Ways to do some of the things that we used to be able to do. But Unfortunately, many involved having to do Many Repetitive Steps/Clicks. Like seeing if a Follower is Online.

It is kind Klungy to have to do a Mouse-Over to see if they are On-Line. But if one only have a Handful, not impossible. But if one has say 30 or 40? Well... that seems sorta Time Consuming. And a Major Contributing Cause of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Or having to have to Click on a Down Arrow or Mouse-Over, just to be able to see where a Member is Located when reading Threads.

Face It. We (Kinda) Got Hosed by this Last Software "Upgrade".
