I have ad block and still seeing it.
Right click on the banner and select 'Block Element'. I use uBO though so ad block might have a different title for that action..

After refreshing, the red stripe is a much smaller red rectangle. I would prefer to see nothing at all.
I used ad block plus, Right clicked and block element, once to get rid of the ad, and once more to get rid of the box.
    I hope that helps.

Edit to say, I don't use a phone when on here.:|

In AdBlock Plus, which I am using, I needed to "Block a Specific Element on this Website".

It might not be enough for those on Smartphones. Because it leaves a Red Rectangle about 60% Less in Height. But it is Much Better for viewing on a PC.

BTW - I'm not the Best person to comment on Video Display. Because I run a somewhat Unusual Setup, a 5:4 Monitor @ 1024 x 768, with 80% Zoom for the ECF.

So AdBlock Plus might work Better on a more mainstream Monitor/Resolution.

Supporting members should not have to deploy ad blockers to remove offensive advertisements.

One of the main benefits of becoming a Supporting Member, as advertised by ECF, was the removal of advertisements.

No One should not have to deploy Ad Blockers to remove Offensive Advertisements. It's Not how you Build a Place people like to come back to. Or Stay with.

You would think that vaping.com would roll stuff like this SMS Ad out on a Monday.

That way when there is Blow Back, which there Always seems there is, the script writers would have time to implement their backup plan before the Weekend Hits.

Or in lue of having No Backup plan, at least have to time to Code something before taking that early Happy Hour on Friday.

I said it in the beginning when these changes started taking effect and now with this ad induced ECF take over, I really do wonder how many more people are going to just leave. I am seriously, and I do mean seriously thinking about just leaving ECF for good because this has gotten too ridiculous GIVEN all the ads being forced on everyone unless you pay cash . . . FB has taken over ! ! !

How do I right click on an iPhone?

I’m sick of this stupid ad. I post mostly from my phone and it takes up valuable screen space.

If I text ECF to +1 (323) 489-7790, will it dissapear?

Only if you send them your SS# as well as your CC's CVV Code.

    For Verification of course.

    :bluewink:

BTW - As long as we are going to Open the Hood to Fix Things.. Can someone do a Level 4 Government Wipe on this Blue Wink?

It looks like something you would get for free from Microsoft circa 1998.
