aargh... i cannot get this @#$#% gamma tank to work well... even without tipping, it seems to flood a lot, juice keeps coming out of the airholes and producing very little vapor, not to mention punching me in the throat... =(

i'm gonna re-roll 1 more wick and give it one last try... =(((

Good evening my Friends :D Well I got some good rest last night finally and we had a very nice Farewell Get Together at the Mission Valley Tilted Kilt today for lunch for our outgoing Officer in Charge and one of our Chiefs who is retiring tomorrow :( I am gonna miss him, he has been one hell of a mentor to me and many of the guys.

Well an update on the Gamma Tank, I was able to get my first dual wick set up working on it today WOOHOO!!!! It has great flavor and O M F G!!! the vapor production is OFF THE CHAIN!!!!

It took a little time to set up right and I had to use my 0.5*0.1mm Kanthal Ribbon to do it but it ohms out at around 1.3 ohms with four coils showing on each wick. I cannot vape this too much though even at 12mg nic because it is INSANELY Efficient at nicotine delivery. I could probably get by with 3mg nic on this setup and be just fine :D This one has the TH toned down a LOT too and thus far I am through about 1/4 tank and no build up around the air holes this time either which is extremely nice :D

Hope everyone is having an awesome Day!
Sincerely;
Nate

Hey Nate!
How are you my friend? Too bad about losing your officer, and the Chief. but retirement is a good thing. :)

So you got the Gamma huh? Pictures my friend. The biggest problem I see on the Dual Coil Genesis set-up I have messed with is having the wicks on opposite sides makes doing the "Genesis Tip" a lot trickier because you basically have to hold the tank so both wicks are horizontal.
From what I have tried, is works well with a full tank, but as the tank gets empty, I start getting dry hits.
Someone need to build a dual coil Gene with both wicks at the bottom.

Howdie :D Yeah it sucks losing them but of course as you well know they have their reliefs here already and they are pretty darn good too :D

I actually got around that with a slight twist back and forth between my fingers to wet both wicks then take a draw on it when it gets low. It works okay that way. It would be really nice though if they made one that could soak up every last drop of liquid in a tank. The only way I have found to accomplish this with genesis atty's though is to wrap the wick with a thin piece of silica in the center of the wick that touches the bottom of the tank, that works really good for getting every last drop :D

Nate,
Have you tried cutting the wick just below the top of the tank?
I have found that this really helps wicking liquid. It might also help empty a tank with dually's! :)
