Ooh, that sounds good Nate!
Out of all the seeds I germinated, only one sprouted, the dreaded Moruga Scorpion! :) Only one plant, but it is getting it's second set of leaves, so I am hoping it is the strongest, of the strongest. I am nurturing that one little seedling like a baby right now. I really want this thing to grow into a huge plant!

OMG Brother that is very exciting to hear you have one up and growing :D I have to say that the "Extreme" varieties of peppers are so very difficult to get going, once they do though they really take off and bush out. These types of pepper strains are the hardest plants in the world to grow because they are so very delicate at the start but so very hardy once they have matured.

I do hope it continues to grow and flourish under your expert guidance my Friend :D
Sincerely;
Nate

I hope so buddy,
I can't believe out of all the seeds I planted only one single plant sprouted and is growing. I am babying this thing like anything, trying to make sure this thing doesn't die. I really hope this thing thrives and becomes a huge hot chili tree. :)
J.

Good Morning my Friend;

I completely understand how you feel, my First 8 seeds planted only yielded one sprout-ling and then after it got 6 leaves it just wilted over and died for some reason. They are a very finicky type of plant indeed. Here's hoping yours will stay strong and thrive into a fully mature pepper bush :D

Hope you have a great day my Friend :D
Sincerely;
Nate

Good morning my friend! :)
Yeah, I am going to have to germinate some more for sure. They just take so dang long to sprout, so it seems you never know if they are going to sprout at all. I definitely need to improve my chance with growing these darn things.
The 7 Pots didn't sprout at all, just one lone Moruga.
I hope you have a great day bud,
J.

Yeah I am actually getting ready to dissect one of the Jonah's right now to start the seeds germinating for some valid sprouts to plant over the next few months for a good spring seedling. I really hope they produce great plants and ultra hot peppers. Even if only one makes it I just want to see what the hybrid peppers will look like after being cross polinated with so many other breeds. I bet they are going to be brutal looking :D

I am really eager to see a good Maruga Scorpion up close :D That is going to be amazing :D

Hope you are having a great day my Friend :D
Sincerely;
Nate

Yeah buddy,
I hope it is amazing! :evil: :lol:
J.

I do too Brother :D I retrieved 25 seeds from one small pepper and they are now sandwiched between two wet paper towels and up in the warmest cabinet in the house in a Pyrex baking dish. I also made up a super concentrated miracle grow plant food mixture so that once I see them start to develop a root I can give them a boost for strength and nourishment to give them a better chance of survival. This process should result in quite a few strong plants and if it works I will be sure to bring you up some as well Brother :D

Hope you are having a great evening my Friend :D
Sincerely;
Nate

Sounds great my brother!
I have used that method before, but you have to make sure they don't get dried out at all, or it will kill them. I started some more in regular potting soil to try too. The last ones I sprouted in peat. I was reading today that these Moruga's are very sensitive to being too wet, or too dry. :facepalm: Wow, no margin of error for these things.
We'll see if I get any more sprouts just starting them in soil.
I hope you have a good night buddy,
Jason

Good morning my Friend;

That is very very true, almost all of the super peppers are extremely sensitive to cold, heat and moisture. It is a pain in the .... to get them started, luckily they are pretty hardy once they get started. I have the duty today so I will be getting mine wet this morning before I head out to work so they do not get dry at all while I am at work overnight. Hopefully all will go well with that :D

Have a great day my Friend and I will talk to ya soon;
Sincerely;
Nate
