Btw, what PG/VG ratio do you guys use to get the maximum flavor out of the tobaccos? I'm using 40PG/60VG and it's good but not exactly that piercing tobacco flavor I would expect from a cigar or cigarette. Does a higher PG concentration work better with most tobaccos? Also, is EM necessary for these tobaccos? I mixed all of mine already and tasting them after 24 hours along with vigorous shaking and hot water baths.

Generally speaking, less VG will give you more flavor and TH, but adding just one extra drop does the trick too (well, for the flavor part). I've tried EM in some mixes and it doesn't seem to really do much at all in these.

That's what I've been seeing as well. These flavors aren't really harsh and are pretty good as standalone flavors. I think I'll add an extra .05ml 2.5%>3.25% to the mix and see what happens. The HFC and B&M are my favorites so far.

In a few days the flavors will get stronger. A very good way is to steep them without nicotine for best flavor.

WOW, just got through the 91 post marathon. Lot of information. My brain is melting already, it's 2:33am, but I'll think I can churn out an order at VZ :)

The only Tobaccos I ever tried were VFC at 100% PG, which I hated (High Caliber brand), and 555 (High Caliber) both at 100% PG and 24mg. I usually vape fruity, cutsie flavors at around 12mg/18mg, but after reading this thread I think I'll take the plunge into the world of tobacco flavors:

So this is the list I have procured, what do you guys think?

VZ SCs:

Key Lime
Mango
Melon
Blackberry
Grape
HFC
Real Cig
B&M
Blended Tobacco
Cream
Coffee
Caramel Mocha
Green Tea
Blueberry
Coconut (although I think I'll drop this as I read some negative posts about it)
B&H
Parliment (I think Cyrus Vap mentioned that this was more like a 555 than the 555)
Cocoa Chocolate
Dunhill
Turkish Blend (Hangsen) Thanks to FranC
Hava (Hangsen) Thanks to FranC

anything I'm missing? :vapor:

Favor the ones from your list that I have had good luck with and enjoy are the Key Lime, Melon, HFC, Real Cig, B&M, Blended Tobacco, Parliment and Cocao Chocolate. I have tried the rest except Blueberry, Grape and Turkish. Kinda interested in the Grape as I have Peanut Butter to go with it! You have enough there to be testing for a long time! Most of the tobacco juices I do at 18 mg, but the fruits I stick with 8-12 mg. My wife uses the Parliment/Koolada at 8 mg as she will go through about 4-6 ml's a day. Sure is nice this is cheaper than cig's!! Oh and much better!! As Jimi D says the tobaccos will change in a few days.

Where do you get the koolada? Ive heard of it here and there and think it might be interesting to try out

It is from another vendor. I wished VZ would start carrying it. ecx are the abbreviations! Koolada has a coolness more on the exhale than menthol. For me it doesn't cover up the taste of the rest of the flavor as much. I believe it is used in some of the "ice" juices seen on the websites. I use about 1 drop per ml, but I have seen others recommending more.

Thanks Woody. Ive heard it also has a bit of a mouth watering effect that it adds to juices. Will take a look and see what I find, but yeah I wish VZ would sell it. All I vape atm is the Mandarin Orange SC but a cooling, mouth watering effect sounds like it would be great

Sounds good with the Mandarin. Maybe a couple of drops of cream too, but I haven't tried the combo as of yet. Koolada works well with lemon at 12 drops lemon and 6 drops Koolada in 10 ml at 12mg nic level.

Isn't Koolada a solution of methyl lactate? If so, wouldn't it be much cheaper to buy the actual powder/crystal form and dilute it in PG? I know that the EM i bought for $12 for ECX (80 grams) will probably last me several years.

There's a few things we use can be had for much less when you find em. See... I don't know where to get menthyl methyl lactate, so...Koolada it is. :p

ETA: Be sure to look up the MSDS should you decide to find the crystalline powder (or dealing with any chemicals really). It's CAS# 39711-79-0. May cause skin irritation, eye irritation, may be harmful if absorbed through the skin, may cause respiratory tract irritation, may be harmful if swallowed or inhaled. No chronic exposure info.
