Just curious why you would count into a syringe? Is this to calibrate the 1ml mark on the pipette?
If the person is using a syringe to mix the PG, VG, and nic. Counting the drops with the pipette into the syringe would give an accurate measurement. It's so much easier using the flavor bottle though imo.

my 2.5% french pipe mix has gotten better with more steeping, but is still coming off as too light. I'm going to have to up the % and see where this puppy goes. There are hints of such greatness there, it would be a shame to not get them all.

3.2% ftw hoosh!

Real cig is MAGIC

I revisited it, straight (no Nuport like I've been doing for a while) and its TOTALLY different after a few weeks of steeping

It's more dry, balanced, a little bitter and with a nice bite. its like a whole new world!

Need to make 60 mls and throw it in the closet. WOOOOOOOO

jimi, why wouldn't you just use the 1ml mark on the pipette and count back into the bottle to get the drops per ml. Maybe I'm missing something.

I agree. It was the first flavor I mixed what; 3 weeks ago? I dripped into a DCA last night and wow! Impressive and far, far better than it was after just a few days.

Because a syringe is far more accurate than a cheap, disposable pipette and the holes (and thus the size of the drops) on pipettes tend to vary significantly. At least that's been my experience with the 3 different sizes of pipettes that I have cases of.

Why would counting the drops into a syringe increase the accuracy of the pipette. The whole point of counting drops into a syringe is to calculate the drops per ml of the pipette.

It wouldn't increase the accuracy of the pipette. The pipette is less accurate than the syringe. Using the pipette to fill the syringe to the 1ml level would tell you the correct number of drops in a ml from that pipette but that's about it. Now, the question of why one would go through the extra step of filling a pipette and then measuring with a syringe is one I cannot answer ;)

Because the pipette might not measure the same as the syringe.. I don't use pipettes, because the flavor dropper bottle is easier, along with a syringe.

That seemed to be my magic number with the French Pipe. And after a long steep it really rounds out a bit, the sweet notes become more aromatic than taste IMO. With 2.5% a long steep just led to diminished flavor, and over 3.2% (up to 5 was as far as I went) I ended up with too much sweetness, even after the steep.

I think its a great juice, but it still needs something for that 'dark tobacco' side of the equation. But I tend to feel this way about most juices, even my favorites. I want to try mixing it with Cigar (when I get it), black and mild, VFC, etc to see if I can get it right. Maybe even 555.

I am curious and it does not really matter to me, but is Jimi D. associated with this vendor or just a fan?

not trying to start anything, I am just curious.

I think he is just a fan, like this guy is just a fan...
