Be sure to thoroughly prime the new/unused head.
As far as what settings go, the standard evic mini doesn't have a SS temp control mode so use watt mode.
Same as any other delivery device, start off at a low power setting & work your way up until you find what you like.

MTL is gonna be a little finicky using .25Ω and enough airflow to keep from burning the wicking material.
What nic mg/ml are you using?

Those are tcr memory placeholders where the user can input differing tcr values for differing wire types. You'd have to know what values to enter.

If you have updated the firmware on a standard mini or have a evic vttwo mini, or vtc mini it may or may not recognize the wire type automagically if you select temp control. You'll need to refer to the owners manual or instructions from whichever update has been done.
The .25Ω crown head is supposedly SS wire.

I'm not a temp control fan, I'd use watt mode & adjust power up/down to find what I liked best.
