I prefer the smooth body. I've been using my plain aluminum one since Dec. and I like it. I bought it raw so I could put a wooden veneer on it. I just got around to putting the marquetry together the other day. I'm not sure what I'll vape on for the few days it's going to take to veneer the thing. That's gonna be tough.

I'm with poppa on that. I like the knurling on the beta, it was a deeper cut. It breaks up the tube so it doesn't look like just a pipe. Of course if I was going to polish t I'd want it plain. What ever keeps the cost down.

I like the knurling on the body of mine but removing it from the future Buzz wouldn't stop me from buying it

Even in that ballpark is very good pricing mike. I would (and will) gladly pay that. A few bucks up from there is expected if the design is worth it and IMO it is from what I have read.
I know you mentioned before going to anodized on some things as its cheaper. Is the new buzz going to be anodized or still available in colors? I really like the anodized black finish on my infinity and would love to see that on the buzz.
I go through a ton of juice, still a 2 pack a day guy. I swap batteries pretty often now. This alone would be worth investing in.

It just goes until it's finished and stops. Keeps a steady till the end voltage level. The batteries I have in right now I put in at 10:15 AM yesterday morning. Now I realize I went to sleep last night and did shopping etc. today and will deduct those times when they go dead. I was just giving you an Idea of the total time when your doing stuff and not vaping.

Are the new Buzzs going to have the 2 screws?
What ones are you referring to ? the bottom one and side one ?
I am going to go to a blasted finish , I did some tests before and it looks REALLY GOOD and is an effective anti slip grip , so they will kind of sparkle a bit. they will still be anodized in colors .
I used to do that for a living when I was younger Mike. I did sand blasting, glass bead, walnut shell and shot peen for strength and it was when I was living down in sunny California.
