New to all this...

Hi all. I am a long time smoker and thought e-cigs would be a good way to kick the addiction to cigarettes. I have no clue where to start. Can anyone suggest something for a newbie who knows almost nothing? I was thinking of trying a disposable, to see if it's for me. Any suggestions?
(By the way, I have always been a menthol smoker, and would need that flavor.)
Thank you for taking the time to read.

Well being a two week vaper here's my thoughts:
- try to find a local b&M where u can try out variable types. disposables, EGO type (batt/tank/charger), and even bigger stuff.

Its a big world.. and a bit of trial and error. And this forum helps alot ;) So read up and try out as much as possible.

I would say if u like menthol then go with a menthol juice like peppermint or creme de menthe .I smoke dessert pies ! LOL

The Want2Vape Mystic Menthol has been awesome for me. It's got the same taste and throat hit that my Camel Menthols had. Thank you for the suggestions!

Just curious...what is the next step up from the EVOD? I like it's compact design, so I'd rather not get into anything bigger.
(Why oh why did I not discover vaping sooner?)

If you're happy, stick with your Evod and mistic menthol:) Otherwise you risk becoming a vape junkie, chasin flavors adv's, getting into different atomizers, cartomizers, drippers, mods. Building coils, diy juice, etc. I wish I had stuck with my Evod and 650mah battery and menthol juice. That was and is the ultimate replacement for the menthol cigarettes imo. The rest is the vaping world of flavors and clouds. There is no steppin up from where you are, it's only steppin IN:)...........................maybe a vv spinner or ego twist or iTaste vv3 with another flavor and a protank2 mini.....and there you go!!! You'll be on your way!!!!

Thank you!! I will keep my EVOD until it no longer does what I need it to do. I appreciate your help.

I think I'm gonna try the Mystical Menthol based on your review. I see they also offer it in a concentrate. If my wife likes it I may try to make some.

If you ever need a better hit from that Evod, you can drill a vent hole bigger and go to a 1.8 ohm coil with a flavor wick removed or a home made cotton wick coil.

I did a B&M when I got my initial. I think they are more expensive, hence, the "initial". This is a good place for learning and asking. Mostly just learning. There is a lot on this site.

Actually, not a bad way to get into this. A good B&M is, of course, hoping for repeat business, so it's in their interests to set you up with a decent vape right at the start. Not just decent hardware, but hopefully also some good advice, and a vape bar :vapor:

Some may even come close to online domestic prices, on some stuff, at some times.
