if you get an 808d i'd get a bloog

1) buy 2 batteries and a charger (or starter kit) to see if you like it
2) Bloog has decent prefilled cartos (save the blanks in a bag for when you start to refill them) and some juice and their blanks are great--you can start there and get it all...
3) See how it goes... if you like the 808ds then order more bats, chargers
4)) If you burn through bats so fast you wish you got something else then get an ego/riva

I'm in a similar position as the OP. After spending an evening lurking around this forum and reading up, I decided to purchase a Volt kit from smokeless image. I also considered the bloog, v4l, g6, a generic 808, and a 510/808 disposable.

Like the OP, I wanted something to simulate the look/feel of smoking a cig (analog? that sounds cheesy...I'll stick with cig) since I know that part of my addiction is to the act and routine of going outside and smoking my Parlis. I figure that anything that will help wean me off that routine with baby steps will help. All of the reviews that I read/saw about the Volt/Halo G6/Bloog were extremely positive (I particularly enjoyed steeljan's video review), so I decided to just dive in and just buy one. I almost bought a $10 disposable 808 instead, but decided that if I really like it, I don't want to have to wait for my next shipment and deal with buying cigs in the interim (I'm in NYC, where packs are $10+).
