I'd forget about an atomiser unless at some point you want to buy one to drip & try out new juices.

As for cartomisers versus Vision Egos, wait & see which you prefer when your kit arrives. Cartomisers can last anything from a couple of days to a couple of weeks, depending on how much you vape. Vision egos should last a minimum of a couple of weeks. Over all, cost wise, there is little difference. I personally still prefer the draw & taste I get with the Boge cartomisers.

@icehunter. Congrats, you are a real vaper now!!!
I hope you get the 5 Boge LR 2.0 cartomizers to start. They are easy for newbies. Just fill them up correctly on that initial fill. That is very important. Then check the top occasionally. If the filler looks dry give it a few drops of juice & keep vaping. When you feel confident that you have that method perfected, then try your clearomizers. They are a bit more difficult. But you can do it!!
Yay!

Hi Bullette dont know what cartomizers come with the kit think they are Innokin 510 Cartomisers have been trying the Vision Ego Standard Resistance Clearomisers that comes with the unit and so far find this very easy to use and a nice hit , i like the fact that i can see how much juice i am useing as it works as it helps controll my intake am a little worryed as there is a not many good review about the clearomisers.
am now looking at putting together a list of what i need to buy to replace when needed a bit confusied as there is so many differant option on the clearmisers and cartomiser and fits with my old kit the big problem i had was never sure when it was empty using cartomizers and dont want to waist juice as cost is a issus for me, it would seem finding a good suplier is harder than you think lol am looking at ordering from vapouriz has any one used them before for parts and juice ?
Thanks for the help .

Icehunter, vapouriz aren't cheap & even though they are a registered supplier on AAE-C UK, I've never heard any of the members actually recommend them. Have a look at the list of UK suppliers I posted in my previous post.

The vision ego clearomisers are quite highly rated - unlike some of the earlier type of clearomisers that you may have read about. The cartomisers you got with your Riva kit will most likely be Boge SR 510's. It's easy to tell when a cartomiser needs topping up as the vapour starts to drop off.

The Clearomizers that Vaporiz sells Vapouriz - Accessories > Clearomizer CE4 (Single Unit) at £5.99 are not rebuildable which means when they burn out you must buy a new one.
If you buy Vision Ego Rainbow V3 Rebuildable £5.50 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid at £5.50 you can buy extra heads Vision Ego Rainbow V3 Spare Heads (Long Wick) £2.50 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid at £2.50 and replace the heads yourself very cheaply- when head needs replacement simply unscrew old head and screw in new head- takes 10 secs. As for juice Vaporiz= £12.99 for 30 ml while Vape Escape £9.95 for 30 ml.
As for cartomizers the best one to use on a 3.7 device are low resistance single/ 2.0 ohms. These are XL which means they hold 1.4 ml as opposed to the standard Boges which hold 1 ml.
Boge XXL Cartomisers (50mm) 5 Pack £6.99 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
Good Luck.

You can also YouTube search for...

Oh heck did it myself:

filling a cartomizer - YouTube.

I imagine you should get the two methods of filling Cartomizers. At the top and then using one of those rubber thingies that come on the Cartomizer - for some reason that I cannot figure out they are called Condoms!

But you can put about 18 drops of eJuice into one of the Condoms that came with your Carto and then press the Carto into it S L O W L Y. I find using the condom method is just slightly more messier than the drip from the top method. If you know just about how many drop you can put into a fresh Cartomizer then you should be good to go. You can use the bottom method but you will still have to use a paper towel to clean up some bits.

What I want to know is how do the Makers of Disposable eCigs do it? Would like to see the whole process.

First fill of a cartomizer is VERY IMPORTANT and will determine the longevity of the carto. With the first fill it must be completely saturated and thus the filling vid.

Have you tried tanks? I switched to tanks after poly-filled carts and got hooked because of the consistent vape. I looked at videos about filling cartomizers and it seemed like a pain. I got an eGo-C Type B and really like the 2ml tank. It's easy to fill and lasts a long time. I tried a higher voltage on my eGo Twist and it tasted like I was burning the liquid. Keep it at 3.3 volts now, so I probably wasted my money on the VV.
