New to E-cigarettes and "vaping"

Hi everyone! My wife and I just started vaping a few weeks ago after hearing an ad on the radio for e-cigarettes. We were intrigued and Googled e-cigarettes and came across a large number of people who also vape, a lot of websites that sell supplies, and even heard of different forums such as this one.

Even though we still smoke analog cigarettes (at least for now), we enjoy vaping and hope to do it more permanently after we sift through all the info and get all of our supplies. Our first order was with Awesome Vapor. We got a 901 and 801, but the 801 wasn't doing it for me so Awesome Vapor let me return it and get the eGo instead. I'm sure that will do the trick from the reviews it got. While waiting for the eGo, we purchased a 510 kit from ZigCigs and have no complaints about this e-cig. I'm especially fond of the manual batteries.

Then onto the replacement parts and juice ... ordering those things from Good Prophets, Liberty Flight and Pure Smoker. We haven't received our orders yet from Liberty Flights and Pure Smoker, but hopefully I will have the same positive experience from both of them as I have had with the others.

Well I just wanted to introduce myself and hope to participate more as soon as possible.

welcome! the eGo is great. no doubt...durable powerful. with the eGo, i have not had an analog cigarette in 3 months, after 27 years of pack and a half a day smoking. i recommend using mega eGo cartridges and mega eGo atomizers and 900mah or larger battery for optimal vaping. also recommend VaporBomb ejuice (in Ohio, so you would get quick delivery), and Backwoods Brew ejuice.

Welcome and WTG on such a fantastic start! You're going to love your eGo! Mine will last me through most a 10 hour shift. Sometimes it'll last until I get home if I don't stealth vape. My car smelled like Caramel Apple on the drive home today, and the only reason I rolled down the window was because it was a beautiful, warm day.

My wife and I want to thank everyone for the warm welcomes. It's nice to have a place to go for info and suggestions.

Speaking of which, thanks @texastumbleweed for suggesting BackyardBrew. I have seen nothing but great reviews on their juice so we're gonna order some when the site is back up and come to find out that VaporBomb actually has a lounge and they are only about an hour from us so we might go and check it out!

Hi welcome to ecf. Ask questions. I didn't at first and ended up with a lot of stuff i had to sell at a loss. Still actually only spent about 1/2 of what cigarettes would have cost me plus all the other benefits from vaping.
