Meh. Just live in an area with a lot of drug use and a lot of bored cops. They harass us about everything. I'm enough of a magnet being covered in tattoos, and we all know, tattoos = drug use! [/sarcasm] I just worry getting into the tank setups that a bored cop will want to inspect it, and end up taking it or breaking it.

I feel like the blu is inconspicuous but still find myself lowering it when I drive by a cop. Which honestly probably makes me look like I AM doing something wrong.

Ah, I feel you there man. I'm pretty well tattooed myself if my username didn't give that away haha! The way I look at it is that if I'm not doing anything wrong, I just carry on how I normally would. If someone suspects I'm doing something wrong, I can proceed to set them straight haha. (But I kinda like setting people straight, so that's just me haha.) You'll definitely run into those places where people have no idea what ecigs are, but it's definitely getting better. We're taking over haha!

Thanks for the advice, everyone...
I picked up an njoy last night. Still had the Logic to finish so haven't tried it yet.

While that seems like it will work perfect for work, I'm leaning towards SI Volt for my home vaping... I imagine I'll end up just using that one at work too and simply tell people that I'm quitting cigarettes as Knight Errant suggested.

i find i can chain vape with the eroll. it keeps up well, just the battery life might bite you. you need to charge it only will last about 30min normal vape time, but you have the PCC and a spare batt too

How long does the PCC take to charge from empty (charge-me light is on) to full (charge-me light changes color)

How long does a battery take to charge off of the PCC?

I think every one of us vaping in public is an ambassador. We need to be honest and behave well, yet politely stand up for our rights too. Carrying (as many suggest, and I do personally) some material to help educate others about facts is a good thing, too. Every mind we open to this is another ally and another voice saying "Cool, go with that. Good for you."

This is why I personally do *not* like the term 'e-cig' or recommend using gear that looks like cigarettes. What we are doing needs to be as divorced from smoking as possible.

While I agree and would like to promote the alternative- the reality is it is a smoking alternative for many and I'd imagine the target demo for vapers are current/former smokers, so there should be some correlation between the actions/looks/feel in order to persuade them into trying it. If I couldn't find one that looked cig enough, I would have missed out on the experience...

For me part of what makes this an appropriate alternative is the fact that I can pass off as a smoker from a far or have an orange glow in the car instead of a blue light. Where I am, I stand out less as a smoker than as a vaper (at this point in time), and prefer to fly under the radar than openly act as an ambassador. That said, I'll be happy to talk to anyone who asks or notices, but since I wont be vaping in restaurants, at my desk, or where smoking tobacco isn't permitted, I'd just as soon blend in.

first off- nJoy battery was horrible... barely lasted a day for me.

second- I totally backed away from analog colors and went with all black and green LED in my Volt... As much as I wanted to blend in, I have to agree that there needs to be a distinction between smoking and vaping and if that means I need to be less introverted for the sake of promoting vaping so that it can be widely accepted and understood, so be it.

... I'm not quite ready to break out a mod in public yet, but baby steps I guess. :)
