I've been new to the e-cig market and have been browsing around for some time. I really haven't purchase anything, only a $15 trial period from ecigaretteschoice.com ( I believe it was No.7 SS choice disposable ones) It was the first e cig that i've tried so i cant say it was the best that i've ever had, but I found it to be a better choice than smoking real cigarettes.

Now, my question is, whats the best choice of e cig out there for me? i was really close to purchasing an e cig from Green Smoke. But after having researched it a bit more, there were a lot of complaints about battery life and liquid being squirted. I really don't have any preference in price. Im willing to put anything under $200. However with that being said, i dont want to make that big of an investment if the product is not going to be good, let along break on me. ANY info would be greatly appreciated.

Just keep reading this forum and you'll find your answers. For me, a half pack a day smoker for many years, I went for a m40x set from litecigusa, as the unit is very similar in size to an analog. I absolutely love it and I think i'll never go back, finally. however, it does require a certain degree of patience and learning to make it work well.

So is it safe to say that Green Smoke brand is not as great as people say it is?

Eh... well, it's not that it's just awful. It works... ok.

But it's extremely over-priced, and the cartomizers are really hard to refill without destroying them, which means you will spend a LOT more money on a mediocre product.

If you like the idea of cartomizers, getting a Kr808D-1 is not only cheaper, but it's also a better product, and easier to refill.

Im new as well m but here is my setup. Ego from cignot for $80 with a bottle of juice to start. The ego is treating me well. Then went to myfreedomsmokes and spent $150 on my diy supplies. 500 60 mg bottle, measuring divices, attys, blank carts, and vg. That's a one year supply. All I have to do now is test some concentrated flavors and im set. Hope that helps.

adeth4told - About every 10 minutes, a new user of e-cigs will post the same type of questions as you've asked. If you click on Forum at the top left and then New Members Forum down a little, you'll find all kinds of threads with answers to your questions. It's getting late now, so there might not be many people answering questions. I'd suggest reading through some of those threads and you'll find that most of the users recommend the eGo for new users (after the new users have bought starter kits that don't quite do it for 'em). You'll find links where you can buy an eGo or any of the other various kinds of batteries recommended.

Good luck and have fun!

I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
The closest thing I've had to an actual cig in a PV is SmokeStik(same brand Katherine Heigl had on letterman). It has a very light draw, and the cartos are EXTREMELY well made. They use a airflow switch, rather than a sound activated switch like the 510, so they won't turn on in traffic, clubs etc... They are a little pricey, but well below your $200 figure($80-90). If you continue to use buy their cartos($30 a month requirement), they are guarrentied for life. And they are VERY classy, as most of them have Cubic Zirconium ash caps and a great finish. ECF discount page: SmokeStik ::: Alternative Smoking KR8 autos use a vacuum switch, and are also very nice for autos. I like to use mine still, but they have a MUCH stiffer draw than the SS. However, they are inexpensive: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...7-vapor-leaf-kings-kr808d-1-sale-26-96-a.html You can get a PCC for either of those models to help extend batt life. If you don't need something auto and/or cigarette sized, the eGo is a great choice. There are a couple options there, you can just get a eGo USB and a couple mega attys. Works as a passthrough untill you disconect the USB cable, then it is a standard eGo batt. Or you can get a kit(still recomend the eGo mega attys, I'll never use a 510 atty on an eGo again).

Liberty flights has the eGo USB batts for $20 with coupon code ecf here: Electronic Cigarette - Pass-throughs - Joye eGo Or, goodprophets.com has them for a bit more, but you get 30ml of juice free for your first order, and free shipping for orders $30 and up. BTW, GPs VG juice is incredible. If you don't want a tobacco flavor, the pear is to dies for. Good Prophets he also has eGo kits, and eCo kits(a knock off that works well w/ an LED on the end...eGos don't have them).
