Hi im new to ECF not new to the world of e-cigs/PV's. Been into the whole e-cig thing for a little over a year and quite analog cigs bout 6 months ago. I wanted to say hello and tell you all this site is amazing alot of great people awesome tips and advice, 5 stars.
I'm now getting into mixing my own liquids. And while i've read tons of info and downloaded all the juice calculators and talked to alot of people, im a visual kinda person. I'd like to throw out what my ideas are and what im working with and what end result i want and just get some feedback as to what you think. And of course do i have the right idea or not.
So i have bought
300ml bottle of PG that is labeled as 48mg Nicotine. (i understand that means 4.8% per ml)
12oz bottle of VG
And PG based flavorings.
When i bought e-liquid the guy would list them as 11strength 18strength 24strength. I thought of well 11 is to low id like 24 strength. So thats what i bought (in 10ml bttls). Now this is where i got confused when he says 24strength does this mean 2.4%nic per ml or by 24strength does this mean theres like 5mls of PG nic mix at 4.8 per ml giving a 24% over the use of the whole bottle?
My target is a 70/30 PG/VG 20% flavoring mix. So i know based off the calculators if i have a Nic base that is 48 thats 4.8 per ml. So in a 10 ml bottle where 24 is the desired nic strength, im adding 5 mls of this PG nic mix, 3mls of just VG and 2 ml's of flavoring. So.. because the flavoring is PG based this will give me my 70/30 20% flavoring mix correct? Or am i off and this recipe is going to give me a bad result and more nic then im use to inhaling. Any help would be great i know this is a pain in the rear but i just want to know if i've got the idea down or am i off, and if so an explanation as to where im off at. I think im just mainly confused on the e-liquid i buy cause its listed as 10strength 18strength and so on.
Thanks so much for your help
