My name is Ian, I live in Dallas and started vaping almost six months ago, my first was a little ego something or other with a clearomizer, right from the start I knew this little guy wouldn't satisfy me, but smoking cigarettes was no longer an option, I was ready to switch. I moved on to a bigger battery, it calls itself the ego-v, I don't know who makes it, but it was a little vv device that did the job, I switched to using punched boge cartos in a dct style tank, and without knowing anything about resistances, how to set correct voltage, any of the "basics" I just went on my merry way vaping at 6v, destroying my cartos and having a blast. I've since moved on to a smoktech zmax v2 that my girlfriend got me for my birthday, did a hell of a lot of research and now I'm here, my current set up is a dual coil smoktech pre punched that I added a hole to in a dct and I'm vaping at 5v. I'm planning on trying the kanger dual coils, read on here that a few folks like those in a tank. So, hello everyone, that's my story, and I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.

Congratulations and welcome to the ECF community! Your journey is very similar to mine as far as the transition through the ejuice delivery devices.
I am currently using the Kanger T2, T3, Evods and the Protank and I'm very comfortably set for a while. I'm sure other members will chime in.

Hey Ian, Welcome! I've been on my ecig for almost three years now. I started with a 510 and new it wasn't going to cut it and moved on to an eGo. I've been here ever since and recently started looking at what's new out there when my passthrough died last month. I've read a lot of great things about the Zmax. Good luck and happy vaping! Also, you been to the DFW store at all? I'd love to try some Slurm.

Welcome, it sounds like you are having some adventure. We all learn from mistakes.
I have unfortunately been to dfw vapor, it's where I got my zmax, the people are very nice, though misinformed, this is of course only my experience , I don't mean to offend anyone. I liked the slurm though, it tastes like a lemon lime soda, I'm not sure what their pg/vg mix is, but it makes me have a small pg reaction so I didn't much like it. Try the place out though, you might like it.
To everyone else, thank you for your kind words, I'm hoping to learn all I can about vaping, it started as a way to quite smoking, but I've fallen in love with it
