You might be allergic to the PG (propylene glycol) in the base of your e-juice. Try some VG (vegetable glycerine) based juice next time and see if that helps.

I haven't yet heard of anyone having a major allergic reaction to the PG, but only some minor ones like you are experiencing. Some people have said that they were allergic to 100%PG juices but that even when they went to 50%PG and 50%VG their symptoms went away.

So get some VG based juice and if it helps try a 50/50 blend and see if the rash comes back.

Still new to vaping, only two weeks now, and I already wish i had done more reasearch. I started vaping with the safe cig and soon discovered that i was allergic to their juice. I developed a huge rash under both arm pits and the sides of my body. it was like a sunburn, red and itchy as all hell, I'm not really sure if safecigs juice is 100% PG, but it doesn't like me. so being a cheap ..., I saved the empty carts and refilled them with my own juice. I went to a 50/50 blend in 5 carts and a 100 Vg in 5 carts. I noticed a huge difference with the 50/50 blend and have only had a mild , very very mild rash a few times and then only if I vape heavy. with the Vg no matter how much I vape no rash. now I'm doing reasearch to move up to something bettter, like the kgo or tgo I also really like the new LEA, Silly I know but I like the idea that I can cap it. but I want to minimize how often I have to switch out batteries. and I have also considered the Megladon, which is what I should buy, cuz, by the time I stop screwing around and spending money on little e-cigs, i probably could have bought two "dons". Anyway, just my two cents, hope it helps someone.

Wow, thanks for the input. i was just searching for someone who had the same "rash" experience as me, So I could get some insight, and thought I would post my expierence. Still vaping, still lov'n it.

It is probably an allergic reaction to one of the juice components (PG, VG or flavoring). Really, there is a huge amount of information to read in the Health and Safety section. Health, Safety and E-Smoking Once you have 5 non-spam posts, you can post anywhere on ECF. Good luck!
