I want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. If I purchased the ego 2.50 cartomizer kit, I would be able to purchase/upgrade to a tank style ego. Honestly I didn't look at the cartomzier cause the tank makes sense and is easy to understand. I need to research on how they work. Thanks

I've never tried an eGo tank but as far as I know they are a standard fitting on all eGo's..I'm 99.99% sure you could..MadVapes also just started selling a Tank Kit it's a bit more money though..I've been considering picking one up to try..it's more of a 510 tank mod style in an eGo kit than a eGo regular tank though...

Well, I would learn how to fill a carto first before I progressed to that. Even the ego-T isn't as easy as it sounds. There's cleaning the atty, adjusting the wick, etc.

One the scale of easy, prefilled cartos is the easiest, and taste pretty bad IMO. Next, the cartos. Drip about 25 drops of juice into a carto. Then atty/cart, then tanks.

Here's a Riva kit that Ghost posted in the other thread. Riva with cartos kit.

That is a good deal if you need batteries and want to try the tank. I just picked up some extra batteries or I might have just gotten that.

Yeah that's one of the reasons I'm thinking of getting it..I figure if I don't like the tanks it's 2 more eGo batteries a extra charger and a case..hopefully when I'm ready to get it it will still be in stock..I'm not buying anything at least until next month though..I have to limit myself or I would spend too much lol.

I am deciding between a couple of those SD Keyrings,a vv mod or that lol..although I might just build my own vv mod as I can get the vv regulator board from MV for like $8..one of my auto batteries switches died yesterday so I'm leaning to the SD's. It will probably come down to what is on sale and in stock next month...

It is confusing. It gave me a huge headache and for some reason I smoked like a nut the whole time I read here.

In a couple weeks this will all actually make sense to you!!

OMG, I'm not a chain smoker but I've been smoking like crazy the last several days doing all this research. I"m actually out of smokes and just thinking if I'd already ordered a week ago, then I could be sitting at my pc with my new pv. lol This is just crazy.

I actually looked at this one yesterday but accidentally closed the screen and couldn't remember what site I was one. Thanks for posting. I'm considering purchasing this unit and the tank unit from mudvapes.

Wow, that would be perfect to use at my work. Oh my, I have a feeling I'll be spending hundreds before the nights over.

You can thank swedishfish for the "SD" link I got it from her a few days ago..the SD is around 300mah so it should last 2+ hours of heavy vaping but if you used it only occasionally during the day at work just one could last you all day possibly. If I were you I would just pick up one of those eGo kits and some e-liquid flavors for now to try..to make sure vaping is right for you before spending a ton..unless you can afford it..bookmark the others and if you like vaping buy the others.

In any case if you like vaping you will spend a few hundred in the beginning but the cost will come down..if you got both eGo kits you should be set on eGo batteries for over a year. If you buy your e-liquids from MadVapes you could get away with $40 or less a month for the liquids (about what I spend on them)..right now there TopVapor USA E-Liquids cost around $0.26/ml if you buy in there 30ml (under $8) or 50ml (under $14) bottles.

With all I've spent at MadVapes for my equipment and everything since last June it's costing me a bit over $70 a month to vape. I vape at leave 7 different flavors too..I think long run I will get my total cost to under $70 a month.

What is the difference between the EM Riva and SLB KGO?

I looked it up quickly and the difference I see is the EM has 750mah batteries and the LM 1100mah batteries..both are eGo style batteries. The EM kit I saw had atomizers instead of cartomizers. Cartomizers are pretty much the same as atomizers for the most part but they have the e-liquid storage tank built into them...

Is there a link explaining the atomizer, cartridges and cartomizer and how they work?

I'm looking for a link..but basically cartomizer is just a combo of the words cartridge and atomizer..cartomizers are the cartridges and atomizers built into one. There are a lot of different styles of both kinds. A cartage is just the tank that stores the e-liquid that connects to the atomizer. A atomizer is a coil with a wick that when attached to the cartridge wicks the liquid out of the cart and into the atomizer.

Edit: For now the best I can do is link the review part of these forums where you can look at the reviews of carts/atomizers. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-reviews/

Edit 2: Atomizers vs Cartomizers Google search this search link should answer all your questions :)
