The higher the resistance the less noticeable the drop in voltage is. When we were running 2+ ohm cartos it was much easier to run a battery down too low.

The thing is, I'm learning more intermediate builds and wanna try stuff. I just made my first successful staged alien Clapton and wanna eventually get into more advanced stuff. What do you suggest for a single 18650 that can handle lower resistance builds?
Right now the three main RDAs I'm using are a black HellBoy, SS TobecoTurbo V2, and a black full size Freakshow
I have a freakshow mini, not fond of the bottom air flow. My derringers and bambino serve me well. I'm liking the shorter top caps these days.
Most of my builds come out between .20-.34 depending on the build. Lately, I've been doing dual parallel 26g coils on my derringer, they are the same length as the air holes, more surface area as well.

I actually prefer the bottom airflow. I traded a Hobo for the HellBoy.
I also LOVE the flavor and clouds that come with the various Clapton builds. I wanna try the stapled or the staggered fused next.

SMPL+ by EDS. It is about as small and simple as a mech can get. I usually build to 0.15 with either the LG HB2 or HB6 and 0.25 with 20A CDR cells.
