I have 808s, egos, and an eroll. Im good with rewicking these devices but sometimes i just wish i had a little more power. So after much thought, i decided on the VAMO SS.

As of now my tanks etc will be a Vapeonly BCC(I have one now, want 1 more), Kanger Pro tank, and id like to get an RBA/glass tank setup but im not really sure exactly what to buy. I like the Phiniac frosted tanks, im just trying to figure out what RBA to get for one when the time comes. Unfortunately im limiting myself to 100 bucks a month, so my tank setup will have to wait until next month

Along with it i got a trustfire charger, 2 18350 efest 800s and an efest 18650 2000. Ill mostly be using it in shorty mode but i figured i might as well pick up one regular batt.

Am i doing everything right? Anyone have a good RBA suggestion for maybe a phiniac or ibtanked setup?

I have an AGA-T2 and, like the VAMO, seems hard to beat for quality and price for a Genesis-type atomizer. It's all stainless with a glass tank. The AGA-T2 will take some IBTanked tubes but I haven't seen anyone mention them as being compatible with Phiniac tubes.

if you want to save some money and aren't in any rush you might want to keep on eye on the coop planning threads. I've got more AGA-T2s on order from a coop as well as an IGO-S rebuildable dripping atty, both at very good prices. I could be mistaken but I think the guy running the coop said he would be running another one sometime soon.

All that said, I am not a fan of the time and effort it takes to rebuild. Also, opinions differ from mine, but I find the highly irritating process of dripping beats any tank, RBA included, on flavor. Fortunately, this is only glaringly obvious with my Ahlusion juices which have highly nuanced complex flavors.

Thanks, I've just fallen in love with this vapeonly bcc and want something like it but glass and more rebuildable. I'm sure you know from the eroll thread I just like to mess with stuff anyways. Ill check out the aga and watch for some co ops! I appreciate the input. I havent really considered dripping yet but who knows, I do get bored of the same old same old quickly

It's doubtful that you will get bored quickly with rebuildables. :D Once you get the hang of coiling stainless wicks you can experiment with ribbon Kanthal, U-wicks and ceramic wicks. There is a ton of info on YouTube and you can ask questions about the AGA-T in this thread, Has anyone tried the AGA Tiamat PLUS w/Glass Tank.

Some people get totally into the Zen of dripping. Unfortunately, as much as I love the taste, I'm not one of them. I'm hoping the AGA-S will be a sensible compromise between convenience and taste.

Yes! That is exactly what i want to do, i NEED to get an SS wick going in some sort of tank clearo. I despise cotton/vinyl wicks and fillers because they ALWAYS burn, and then you have to rewick or toss it out. With the SS i have no concerns. Nothing worse than torching a wick on your favorite device when youre out of the house.

Dripping would be something i might do to sample flavors, i cant really imagine doing it every time i need to vape. Im more of a take 2-3 puffs every 10 minutes, which i would imagine a pain if you were a dripper

Been looking at the agat; this comes with the SS already and glass tank. Ive seen people posting these with their wick setups and never knew what they were. =)

AGA Tiamat PLUS - Rebuildable Atomizer

For easy, peasy try the Boge Vivi Novas. Pick up one of the standard size Vision Vivi Nova anodized aluminum replacement tubes for juices that eat plastic. They fit the Boge VNs perfectly and anodized aluminum is chemically non-reactive with juice. Also, the Boge VNs don't turn juice into a brown tasteless goo the way the Visions do. I find the taste to be only very slightly less muted than my AGA-T2.

Tank atomizers seem to be the newest thing in juice delivery systems. These are two I've run across without doing much digging. Both are on the pricey side.
NHaler Reactor Tank
AMP Tank

The are also probably some obscenely expensive atomizer tank systems in the works but I use, rather than collect, PVs so I'm not in the loop of what is going on in that market.

Ok i got my Vamo. So ive been using this Vapeonly BCC on my ego 650 and kgo 1100, which are 3.7v and 4.2v. Obviously the Vamo is a powerhouse, even with a single efest 18350. It is kinda usable on it at 3v, the lowest setting, but anything above just burns the juice like crazy.

I see people running a lot higher wattage with no issue. Should i be kicking up the VG in my juice? Whats the secret? Even at 3v its kicking a lot harder than my kgo. Definitely impressed by the power, but now i need to figure out how to get this thing ripping without getting filthy hits.

edit: Figured out i could change it to watts, and set it to the lowest, 3 watts, now its working perfect. but still, only 3 watts? Can i run it harder and not cook my juice with an Aga-t or other device? What do you guys run yours at for voltage with what type or cart/tank/clearo and ohms?

I feel like a complete noob now, and i felt like i actually knew something until i got this lol

edit: button tapping seems to help a bit, is that how you usually use a mod?

Sounds like you're running in mode 1 voltage setting. Switch to RMS2 wattage. This will regulate in effect the proper voltage to whatever head you are using and avoid burning your wick and or popping the coil.

The technical reviews I've found (using scopes that understand PWM) show it to be fairly inaccurate in VV mode but pretty solid in VW. (And definitely switch to N02 mode - hold + for 10 seconds and it'll display N01 or N02.)

The other thing is, experiment. Jump it up 1 or 2 notches and try it, if it goes wonky back off, otherwise keep going. I usually use mine around 6.5-8.5 (stacked) with a 2ish-ohm EVOD BCC or VVV tanks (boge cartos)

ETA: just tried 3W. Barely any vape, super light flavor.. definitely should be higher, at least for me :)

Thank you, i switched the mode and ive been turning up the voltage a bit and getting good hits. Im on 2.2ohm and it seems like 3.4v is about as high as it goes there. Also yeah now at 3W very very light vape, so im going to use that mode and jack it up slowly like you said. This is great. Thanks for the quick responses (I actually went to bed after my post  I got the manual too this thing has way more features than i thought it did, ohm checker? Awesome!!

Yeah i see the threads about peoples going back automatically too, so ill keep an eye. It starts cooking around 5.5W with this juice, but im getting a great vape at 5.0W. Im just using a single 18350 right now. I didnt realize you could stack so i also have a 18650 for when i need a long run of power.

Stacking gives more voltage (double) but no more runtime. Both batteries drain at pretty much the same rate. (If they are wildly different, BAD THINGS will happen. I stack until I feel like going shorty, and after that I don't stack those batts until they are both drained and charged again...)

Since it provides more voltage, its easier for the vamo to hit your desired level. (And it is slightly more accurate, although VW+RMS is pretty accurate to begin with according to the techs.)

Hey whats up fellow Mass resident.
Can't suggest a good RBA, but just got a VAMO myself, you'll love it!
Nice and heavy/sturdy...tons of POWER!

Nice, if we had a MA meetup there would be 2 people total. I just got my Vamo too, hence the thread. What are you using on it?

The RMS mode is definitely much better, it seems anything i do in AVG mode is just way too much power. Ill probably just play it safe and use my 18650 for full length =) I need batteries for my meter to check mine but its saying at 5W that its using 3.7V if i hold the left button, which adds up if you do the math.

Thanks for the help im loving this thing!
