New to mods; Vamo v5 is giving me a choking, charred vapor!

Got my new Vamo v5 a few days ago and it's been working perfectly. It's at 2.5 ohms, and I have kept the watts low (around 5.5).
Suddenly last night I took a big ol puff and it tasted burnt and nasty, it burned my lungs and was just terrible. I vaped easy on it and it didn't happen again til this morning. So I have the watts down to 3, and it still has a burnt taste. It's got 6 mg juice, kinda syrupy but it never gives me a problem w my other pv's.
So now I am using my ego twist with protank and self-wrapped coils and vaping just fine - but I want to use my awesome mod!

Help! How do I get the regular taste back?!

So if you take that protank that work perfect on the Twist and run it on the Vamo. It will taste burnt, regardless of power setting, even when set to approx same setting as the EGO is running? Yes, there's something wrong with the Vamo. If the issue involves different atomizers then look at the atomizers. maybe the wick is drying out when sitting, IDK.

Make sure your 510 connection is clean and tight on both sides - I'm not positive I understand this properly, but with vw mods if your device misreads the resistance of the atomizer it can increase voltage attempting to provide the desired wattage, resulting in an extremely hot and unpleasant vape. Happens to me with my box mods when my Lemo's center pin gets loose and the resistance jumps from 0.8 up to 2.5!

I smoked three cartons a month (PAD). That was about $175. With vaping, there is a more up-front cost.

When something is added to the primary purchase, it is generally good for the seller because the customer thinks they are getting more.

As to a charger, the Nitecore brand is very popular. I have two. Work great.

Don't forget spare equipment...things happen.
