Been vaping for over 1 1/2 years and finally took the plunge and bought myself a ProVari 2.5. I had never tried one and was finally able to fit one into the budget! I have vaped on many mods and this one is awesome. Clean consistent vaping experience down to the last bit of energy in the battery.

I was also able to get a Z Atty Pro and Kir Fanis Prive from darkgear on the classies! I am new to Genesis style atomizers and I'm learning. Today I oxidized my first mesh wick, wrapped my first coil and experienced what I've read about for so long. This is a new era of vaping for me and I'm glad I took the plunge. ECF and YouTube are my friends and I will only get better with time. I even picked up some silica when I was at the vape store and wrapped some brand new microcoils for my 3 ProTanks. I will say it was a bit easier wrapping that microcoil then going through the process of preparing, wrapping and getting the ZAP to fire just right.

My ZAP was wrapped with 400 mesh and 32ga. kanthal. On the ProTanks I used a silica mesh wick and the same 32ga. kanthal. I hope I'm using the right stuff and I welcome any and all input!

Here is a pic of my new toys!

Im very interested in the Zen Atty. How hard is it to rebuild for someone whos never done it before? I would love to buy one in the future...probably not anytime soon though because my new ProVari has left my vape budget rather small at least for a month or so. I guess another question I have is, is the Zen Atty worth the $140 price tag?

No. Not to me. I prefer cotton and microcoil builds over mesh. That's my preference.

The Kayfun costs $120, is it worth it? To me, yes. But I got a clone instead, because that was what I could afford. :D

The ZAtty is the best (or one of the best) Genisis style attys out there. It is the Genisis atty that was built with the ProVari, and the ProVari alone, in mind.

Thank You everyone for the likes, nice comments and warm welcomes!

The Z-Atty Pro is very nice and I was able to pick it up and an even nicer price... $65.00 with a spare blue IB Tanked glass. It is a perfect mate with the ProVari. It is a VERY open draw so if that is not your cup o' tea you may not like it so much. I have heard some actually make the hole bigger and that kind of surprises me now after experiencing the most open draw of any tank ever.

I am now interested in purchasing a KayFun Lite + and Train2 has posted a link but I am holding back from clicking on that link!!! LOL!

I truly enjoy the vaping experience and owning all this great gear takes a toll on my wallet!!!

Congrats! Wait until you try a micro coil wicked with organic cotton in your genesis style atty. once you do one, and get it right, nothing else will compare!

Twice the micro-coil with with cotton was mentioned and I have not seen that on a Genesis style atty. Am I reading this correctly and does anyone have a write-up or video on how to do it?

Thanks in advance!

The ZAP came with a ceramic wick and I wrapped my coil nicely then then when adjusting the coil it broke!!!! :(

Drop me a PM to remind me and I'll type up how I do it (a 41 yr old man with bad eyesight and no coordination). It really is very similar to other micro coil builds in terms of size and method. And the wicking is very similar to the "auto drip mode" that I saw someone do on YouTube. To me, I am liking 30awg over 32, as it holds up a bit better, but I have and use 32 from time to time, and it will be just fine. The microcoil aspect does take it to the next level, but I had a lot of success at first with like 5 wraps around a #4 screw as a form, attach ends to post and make a quick wick out of either cotton yarn (good) or organic cotton ball fibers (best). IMHO the wick size is the most important thing.

Again, pm me and I'll write up a quick bit and try to get some pics up. Just need to be behind a real keyboard (and I don't want to take this thread too far off topic)
