Drop me a PM to remind me and I'll type up how I do it (a 41 yr old man with bad eyesight and no coordination). It really is very similar to other micro coil builds in terms of size and method. And the wicking is very similar to the "auto drip mode" that I saw someone do on YouTube. To me, I am liking 30awg over 32, as it holds up a bit better, but I have and use 32 from time to time, and it will be just fine. The microcoil aspect does take it to the next level, but I had a lot of success at first with like 5 wraps around a #4 screw as a form, attach ends to post and make a quick wick out of either cotton yarn (good) or organic cotton ball fibers (best). IMHO the wick size is the most important thing.

Again, pm me and I'll write up a quick bit and try to get some pics up. Just need to be behind a real keyboard (and I don't want to take this thread too far off topic)

Congrats on your new ProVari.

Did I read your post correctly; i.e. your first Genesis build actually worked out ok? Congrats on that, too. It took me several builds before I even got into the ballpark with Genesis wicks and coils, thank heaven for the drill-bit method.

Been vaping for over 1 1/2 years and finally took the plunge and bought myself a ProVari 2.5. I had never tried one and was finally able to fit one into the budget! I have vaped on many mods and this one is awesome. Clean consistent vaping experience down to the last bit of energy in the battery.

I was also able to get a Z Atty Pro and Kir Fanis Prive from darkgear on the classies! I am new to Genesis style atomizers and I'm learning. Today I oxidized my first mesh wick, wrapped my first coil and experienced what I've read about for so long. This is a new era of vaping for me and I'm glad I took the plunge. ECF and YouTube are my friends and I will only get better with time. I even picked up some silica when I was at the vape store and wrapped some brand new microcoils for my 3 ProTanks. I will say it was a bit easier wrapping that microcoil then going through the process of preparing, wrapping and getting the ZAP to fire just right.

My ZAP was wrapped with 400 mesh and 32ga. kanthal. On the ProTanks I used a silica mesh wick and the same 32ga. kanthal. I hope I'm using the right stuff and I welcome any and all input!

Here is a pic of my new toys!

Im very interested in the Zen Atty. How hard is it to rebuild for someone whos never done it before? I would love to buy one in the future...probably not anytime soon though because my new ProVari has left my vape budget rather small at least for a month or so. I guess another question I have is, is the Zen Atty worth the $140 price tag?

Easy to build. A decent first Genesis. Not worth $140. You can get one off the classified for much less.

Pauly3, I already miss that blue glass :)

Mesh, done right, is a great vape but if you ever want to experiment, try from ReadyXwick from RBA supplies. It's a great wick and super easy compared to mesh.

Yeah that blue glass is awesome! I am using the clear one for now as I need to see what's going on with the wick since I am new to this type of tank! I really really like the Kir Fanis Prive as well! Both are awesome and each have their strengths! I'm taking the ProVari with KF Prive to work and enjoying the ZAP when I get home!

I keep stalking the classies for more Vape Gear!
