Eeekkkk... just starting now with Tapatalk, so it may take a minute... Do you think that this will make a huge difference in flavor as opposed to the Melo 3? Financially, just taking the sub-ohm leap after 3 years vaping. Financially, it would make a HUGE difference if the tank was part of a "kit"?

Do you really think that this will carry a lot more flavor than the melo3? As finances are involved, something that comes as a kit would be really helpful to me financially... especially where, after 3 years, I'm finally just taking the sub-ohm leap?

Not sure if you are replying to me but I take a stab at it. I think a new tank would help you decide if its just the flavor you are after or if you really want the pico and melo tank.
Look at this tank. Its less than $10. and may answer your problem

Rebuilding has a bit of a cost getting started, wire $3 and up, whatever you want for wicking, I used cotton balls for years and may go back to them! A good pair of tweezers, just for vaping, fingernail clippers, screwdrivers, to wrap coils and tighten the grub screws. So it's pretty cost intensive! (Insert sarcasm smilie here)
But it's fiddly, can be time consuming and doesn't always go well!
BUT, you can create whatever vape you want and make an atomizer work for your tastes! When I said all of mine are rebuildable, I mean ALL OF THEM!
As I said, it's not for everyone though, watch some YouTube vids and I'll link a thread to as basic as it gets coil building in a min, hopefully the pics still work? It's a lot cheaper in the long run.

Umph, I was REALLY getting hopeful and settling in with the Pico + Melo 3 choice... compatible coils, compatible coils I mean... it's the Triton Mini that I'm trying to "match"... I'm sorry, I obviously have a HUGE lack of knowledge about all of this :(. You're really being so patient and helpful!

Just happened across this mebe abandoned thread (nice try gang tryin' to get it started). I get a lot of that…Is that all there is?…with users I coach. My philosophy is a bit different than some. Rather than sorting out the possible infinite varieties of what is wrong, why not just get it right? The best way is to rebuild, a reliable solution that lets you simply test and find what really satisfies you. I'm an advocate for this being the starting point that resellers and this community should be striving for. An example and if you're interested…

G'luck shanna. :)
Now MacTechVpr, you really want to scare the newbie away. lol. Heck, I am just now getting into building and I have vaped for 6 years. So don't scare me away either.

There is a kit that comes with the EVO tank, but I haven't used it. I've heard some good things, but it's not the cheapest kit and it has a lot of options, so it may be more complicated than you want. Also fyi, If you do get the EVO tank, there's two versions, one is only 2ml and the extended version has a 4ml extension so you can use it at 2ml or 4ml.

Thanks for the link. I have already watched all the videos, read thru the threads, bought all the necessary stuff to accomplish all of this, etc.....
Just waiting on a couple of more things. :)
Trust me, follow the link! This is using what you already have, other than wire! "Stone Age building", if you will!

OMG, sawlight, umph rebuilding and spinning my own coils is far, far beyond my knowledge base or patience level

You should really answer sawlight's post about the juice and how and when this started. It could just be a case of vapers tongue.

How, what, when did I decide I wanted to make the sub-ohm leap... I've ALWAYS wanted increased flavor! I stayed away from subohming until now because of the increased cost, liauid, etc. It's getting more and more to the point where I can't taste my juice... By this point, most vendors have gone to max VG ... 70/30, or 75/25. With the PG level lowered, lower wattages, I'm thinking just won't let the flavor come through? I may be absolutely crazy (well I AM crazy) with this theory... I think that kind of rolls through all of those ?'s? I WAS using a juice company that I LOVED, ratio 40vg/60pg and I'm a HUGE fan of sweet... I believe you may, to this, think something like"how is that even possible"? But, I could not vape this juice with my long time set-up (istick + Aspire Mini tanks) above 6-8 watts without getting a burnt taste... Then, about 6+ months ago, they changed something, because even with this once very flavorful line, I just could not taste my juice... I tried everything, jumping to flavors WAY out of my realm to shake things up, drank my self to the point of about drowning, nothing worked. I stumbled across, in a purse I'd not used in some time, a bottle of their juice about 7 months previous to the order where things started to change, YES, I tasted that juice!!! So, they changed something. In looking for other vendors, many I came across that were most affordable and kind to my tanks had a MUCH higher VG level, so with this set-up, I'm not getting a ton of flavor... So, here I am, just hoping the change to a sub-ohm set-up may help me out with pulling the FLAVOR through? This is why I've tried to be soooo clear in saying that it's good FLAVOR that I'm looking for with this anticipated change... I'm just trying to make a reasonably priced decision and the answer seems to be, financially, going toward an entire kit in that my wattage capabilities would be increased together with a tank that supported sub-ohm coils? That's a very long answer to your shortly versed, how, when, why ?'s. Sincere apologies for the novel. Obviously, I need HELP and I thank you. The set-ups, again, that I mention are ones that would fit comfortably in my small hands
