And yes, I have been browsing the forums for the past two days. There's just so much information out there! Can someone point me to a reputable website (and easy to navigate, a lot of websites I checked out were just, scattered and ugly and confusing) for an eGo twist or spinner? I am pretty sure that's what I want to upgrade to. No generic stuff. (is VOLT generic?) - and which is better? The twist or spinner? I want something bigger than my XL V2 (not length wise, but width). I like longer ones too.

Hallllp! Plz. :nun:

And yes I know, V2 sucks or whatever (I didn't realize that until I started browsing the forums) - But it has kept me from smoking analogs for 90+ days (after being a half PAD smoker for 13 years)

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the ECF. First off, V2 doesn't really suck, it's just that the cig-a-like batteries are so limited in their performance and battery life.

You mention the Twist and Spinner and both of these would be a good upgrade for you. Preferences vary, but both seem to get high marks from users here. The most important thing to keep in mind at this point is that you are looking at eGo threaded batteries, most of which also have the 510 fitting. This is different than the KR808D-1 fitting that your V2s have, as do the Volts.

Madvapes, Smoktek and Viper Vape all come to mind as suppliers of the Vision or Twist, but any of the suppliers listed in the suppliers section of the ECF will do. MyVaporStore is also a good site and I believe they sell genuine Joye.

Honestly, you want one that will do what you want and, last you for years to come, save your money and go with a Provari, and, if you like an ego adapter for it so you can use 510 or ego stuff on it. Yes it's costly but, it's worth it and, you won't be wanting better anytime soon - like never.

Yeah, if you're 110% sure you are going to keep vaping long term like the rest of your life or at least the next 2-5 years it is best to invest in a decent APV like a Provari. I bought a Evic when I hit 2 months vaping, not as expensive as a Provari but I told my husband if (and I so will be ) Im still vaping at Christmas this year then I want a Provari and a cool IBTanked tank for christmas! :D

Wow! Thanks for all the replies! I think the first step before i plunge into purchasing a new kit is to stop by my local vape shop. They had one, a Zenci? I think it was called, it was the variable voltage and I loved it. I think they may sell the ego's, or maybe the zenci was an eGo? I don't know! I will stop by there this weekend, probably today. And let you all know what I decide to do. Maybe if I have hands on with them I'll be able to make a better decision. Def will be checking out the online shops mentioned here (I am certain they will be much cheaper than purchasing from the B&M)

I upgraded from V2 about 3 weeks ago. I bought 2 Vision Spinners, and then an ego twist as a second backup. I also 2 Vision Clearomizers, an 3 EVODs. I'd suggest starting with the CE5 type clearos, as the EVODs require a lot more tinkering to get them ton work the way you want. The deal at myvaporstore.com is a good one.

So I went to my local vape shop (place called VapeXcape in Baltimore, MD) - and purchased what they call a "Zenci Axis" - which is basically a Vision Spinner, but their brand (and overpriced at $49.99). So far I am loving it. I got the Mini BCC tank by iSmoka to go with it. I am confused about the OHM's though for the coils. It comes with 3 different coils, all different OHM's - Can someone tell me what this means? Why are they all different OHM's, whats the difference? And when it's time to replace the coils, can I just stick a piece of cotton in there and pop it back in?? And for the life of me I cannot figure out what "Dry Burning" actually is. Thanks in advance for helping your friendly nOOb.
