Hello all. Just decided to start posting here, so I can start replying in other forum areas :)

I've been vaping on and off for about a year now. I first bought a very cheap kit, came in a white box. Not sure what kind it was, I only used it once and then it sat in the closet. Poor vapor, poor quality. I then moved to a Smoke51 kit from a gas station near my work. Better, but still awful quality, and very inconsistent.

After that I gave up and smoked regular cigs again for a while. Around october of last year I did some research on this forum, and bought a 510L starter kit from firstvapor.com. Very nice kit, but both of my auto batteries crapped out after three months. I then went and bought an eGo kit from liberty flights, and still use it. I also bought a 510 starter kit from them, and am using that too.

I was a pack a day smoker for 18 years. Very glad to have switched, currently I don't even crave regular smokes at all. My favorite liquid currently is coffee/espresso types. I've tried a few different brands, currently sticking with SS Choice Brand (No.7), as it is sold at the local tobacco shop by my house in 30ml bottles. I feel very lucky to be able to walk a few blocks to purchase my eliquid, eh?

Thanks everyone for making this a great forum.

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to many posts in this forum. I've found the suppliers list to be an invaluable resource for browsing products and pricing stuff.

Prior to ecigs, I've never tried even once to quit smoking. I have to admit the first two kits turned me off a bit, but I knew from reading this forum that there was better gear out there. I'm also a massive tech geek, so all things electronic always peak my interest. Every time something breaks, the first thing I did was to take it apart and try to figure out how it works.

I really wanted to like automatic batteries, but I haven't found any that don't break fairly quickly? I think that mine have all broken in the past due to either dropping them, or maybe getting some liquid in them. They start 'blinking', is the best way to describe it. I'll draw from them, but they only stay on for a split second at a time, so I have to puff away at them to get a good hit. Now that I have switched to manual batteries, this problem has obviously gone away :)

Hi, MN-puffer. I pay $20 for a 30ml bottle (16mg nic). The store is in South Saint Paul, in a little strip mall-y area at 12th Ave and Southview boulevard. Can't remember the name of the store, their sign just says 'Tobacco' on the outside, lol.

Edit: Found the place. I don't know how to PM it to you, maybe I don't have enought posts?

Place is called Sam's Tobacco.
