My wife bought an Apollo Ego starter kit from a cigarette shop and paid almost $50 last sunday (She quitting smoking). I swear I saw them cheaper online. As I did my research, I realized how big this vaping thing has gotten. I ended up getting a Kanger Evod starter kit for $35 online because it came with 2 (wife only got 1), good reviews, and that it is rebuildable. I ordered 100% VG organic E-juice as well. When I got the everything in the mail (Wed) I realized the 100% VG was very thick and I got harsh/dry hits right away. From all the youtube videos I've watched, I just went all in and decided to rebuild the coil. I did and it worked right off the bat. That being said, I had no clue what ohm it was

.I couldn't resist. So it didn't seem like it had enough power to get good vapor. So to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, I picked up an iTaste VV V3 as it showed ohms and could adjust voltage/watts. It came in today and it turns out my rebuilt Kanger head is 2.3ohms. My 1st tape was with 4.3 volts and OMG, the flavor was soooo good!!!! I'm hooked
I'm already looking into a RDA (rebuildable drip atty?)
.From what I read, atomizers have the best flavor. I guess, I'll start with something cheap

The IGO are good starter attys to try our re-building, and re-building for your tanks are always good practice....
But for safety's sake ALWAYS check the resistance before firing and coil you build, it's just too easy to have a short or too low resistance...vape safe...

So are/were you a smoker too or just your wife? I just told my husband he can learn a few things from you LOL. He never smoked but will do any of the vaping dirty work for me that I ask. At 1st I was like OMG this guy is just online buying up stuff and rebuilding for his wife! My husband had the deer in the headlights look for a min there. Then I read you saying you got harsh hits so you must have been vaping I need a vaping prince who will rebuild my coils and surprise me with new vape toys and liquids

I can still casually smoke at parties/bars and not smoke after. My wife hates me for that.... As far as the research and rebuilding....I guess I'm just really nerdy and enjoy those kinds of things. I enjoyed the flavors when smoking a Hookah and figured this could be close to the same. Also, I think all the Mechanical and VV/VW mods just look cool. My wife doesn't care about the technology or cool looking mods.....she just wants a cigarette!! LOL If there is anything I can do to help her NOT want a cigarette, I want to do it. Unfortunaly you're in Iowa and I'm in Cali.....thats a little too far to be your Vape Prince. LOL.
