Congrats on being analog (cig) free for 9 days!

I have an eRoll on the way myself. Been vaping on other stuff and want to try that for the form factor.

Yes, you can refill and reuse your carts. After filling and refilling over and over they will probably start fitting loose and start leaking, that's when you know it's time to change it. Not sure how frequently that happens on the eRoll.

Atomizers vary depending on what kind of juice you are using. Many people will get months out of their attys before needing to clean or replace them, others will get just weeks. If you think performance of your eRoll is declining and the battery is full, juice is the same...then it may be time to either clean or change the atomizer head. Cleaning the atomizer head following by dry burning and another rinse, then letting it dry, will often bring back performance for awhile.

There are threads here that are specific to the eRoll where you can see other users' experiences with theirs and that should help answer more of your questions.

Welcome to the forum!

The cartridges are super easy to clean, I pull them apart and clean them once condensation starts to build up pretty bad in them. I pop off the top, pop off the mouthpiece disc, and use a straight pin through the side vent to push out the inner disc. So I don't lose pieces, I first plug up the sink, and I wash them in a wire strainer with very hot water. You can use a compressed air can to dry them I suppose, but I just blow manually (lol) then set them on a towel overnight until they're completely dry.

Replace the cartridges when they don't fit snugly on the atomizer spike anymore. They'll leak. I haven't had to throw any away yet, and I've had mine a month.

As for leaking in general, you should not have anything leaking from the eRoll. Condensation on the inside of the atomizer tube is normal, just wipe with a paper towel.

The atomizer will last a while, but if it gets gunked up (you'll learn the difference in pull and taste) just clean it. (See previous poster's vid link) Be careful not to burn it. A burnt atty is a dead one. You can rewick one if it's just burnt.

I think that's the gist of it. :)

As mommyofdoom said, it shouldn't be leaking. I had a leak when I overfilled a tank with a very thin juice, but I have had no leaks when used correctly. One person in the eRoll thread had significant leaking, and he returned it for a replacement. Definitely read the eRoll thread linked above for more details.

They have answered your tank question, and I'll just add a little more info regarding my experience with the atomizers to their excellent advice. I have one eRoll with a blueberry juice and one with a banana juice. With these flavors my atomizers are still performing well after a few weeks, with no weird or bad flavors and great vapor production. I haven't cleaned or changed them, although I'm sure they are due for a maintenence cleaning. However I have an eRoll loaded up with my favorite RY4, and it starts to taste bad after just a few days. Something in this juice really gunks these atomizers up. All I have to do is rinse them in hot water and let them dry and they are good to go again. When that stops working, I do a dry burn on my ego c like the video linked above. That is a very helpful video in cleaning and dry burning these ego c atomizers.

Welcome to ecf, the eRoll, and vaping!

It sounds like you may have a faulty kit. I have never heard of the pcc back sliding off. Although you could try to tighten the screw, I think I would want a replacement if I was having this many issues.

Yes, I rinse the entire atomizer in hot water, without taking it apart. I soak in a small dish of hot water, and I blast hot water on and through it with the spray hose attachment of my sink. Then I blow it out and leave it on a paper towel to dry. This cleans enough of the gunk off to reuse. Eventually, I need to dry burn them to remove the gunk that builds up on the coil. But you can just pop in a new one.

When you put a new one in, drop a few drops of juice right on the wick in the spike of the atomizer. Then fill and place the tank in, and hold it upside down for a second to make sure the juice is getting into the atomizer. Then you should be good to go with great flavor.
