Also, i have a few batterys that are still kicking over 5 months now it just depends on how much you vape and charge them. Plus which type of a battery you buy. I have had good luck with vision spinners just under 20 bucks and both are my work horse's and there are going on just over of 5 months, but i also chain vape using 6mg nic so i have to charge them a couple of times a day.

Yes the cartos are refillable and it's a good idea to buy some eliquid in the same flavor if they carry one you like. Some of the cartos are rather dry and will burn easily and then they are toast. The batteries don't last very long your chargers will get a workout. While they advertise the carto as being about the same as a pack of cigs it really is not.

Then a charge a day if your battery is rated for 300 charges then you should get close to a year, but i think you might find that you need a little more. i know i did, i bought a N0 7 recharge kit at first it was great for the first 3 or 4 days than i found my self smoking 4 or 5 cigs in between vaping and than all of sudden the kit just died. Then i did a little reading online and found a e-cig shop down the road from me, went there tried there stuff and said oh yeah this is it. Then about 2 months later i am back buying bigger battery and better gear. Then i found this forum and wow i had no idea what was out there. Like i said before if i had found this forum before making dumb mistakes i could have saved a lot of money.

I used the v2 reds when I started and liked the flavor but lots prefer the sahara. Refilling a carto is simple you pop off the little white top turn the carto on a 45 degree angle and drip into it from the bottle until the fiber looks kinda slushy. They need to stay fairly moist and the v2 plain cartos take about 18-20 drops if completely dry.

The tank i can send you has a hole in the bottom that you just put the bottle of juice in and fill it up. I have a order in from wizard labs that make a Marlboro red flavor that i have ordered but has not showed up yet, the thing with e cigs is you are not going to get that same flavor as burning a real cig, you can get close but so far i have not found the same taste as a burning cig. Now there alot of juice vendors out there that have very good tobacco flavors, i love cigar mixed with a little of bit of vanilla bourbon, it is like smoking a real good cigar, but you need to know that i mix all of my juices by hand.

Welcome!! That's awesome that both you and your girlfriend are going to start vaping together. Should make it a lot easier for both of you.

Caution Will Robinson. Spending too much time on ECF has been known to cause GAS. Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Hide your credit card when you visit here and you'll be fine. :)

Wishing you and your GF much success!!!

Congrats to you and your GF for starting this together!
I don't think you went wrong with V2....it's a starting point and you go on from there.
I have, and started with, V2s (along with a few others like it) for going out to clubs, bars, etc.
My Egos are for home use, but now I'm finding I bring them out too, depending on the venue, etc.

I have to admit I really don't use the standard cartos anymore, I much prefer to buy yummy juices from US vendors and either use blank cartos or clearomizers:)

Welcome to an awesome (and highly addictive and expensive) hobby!
:)

Thanks for the info! I'm going to be trying some juices soon!

The only thing that concerns me is that I live in a rural area in the bible belt of the country, and I'm afraid enhaling through a silver/blue stick with a blue/white light with smoke exhaling from my mouth is gonna attract negative attention lol
