I do not use a Lava Tube, V1 or V2 but I do use a Vamo as well as eGo-Twist and eGo batteries. What I want to know and maybe I just missed it somewhere what exactly is so bad about the LT v2? What problems are you having exactly? I can understand not enjoying a proprietary tank system and I realize quite a bit of equipment does not fit on a LT without an adapter. If your trying to compare Non-VV to VV its like comparing apples and oranges. I have eGo Batteries that work well with certain gear built to match the same amount of wattage that I vape my genny at. So is it a matter of battery life? Are you upset that certain batteries do not work in certain mods such as the LT? or is it just that Clearomizers don't work with a LT without an adapter? ViVi Nova (At least the Neptune I haven't worked with any other type) will work on them if your looking for a Tank System (though so far I'm not a fan of Kanger, ViVi Nova or anything but my Phoenix and Aga Tiamat+).
Giving a vendor a bad review is one thing and sometimes can be not only warranted but completely beneficial. Complaining that it won't fit every last thing in the vaping world (without a 5$ eGo adapter) and warding people off a product just doesn't seem justified. There are mods that will only work with certain types of atomizers not necessarily that brand of atomizer but still...
I think the LT v2 has many faults personally but I don't think that because it cannot take any piece of equipment out there it should be entirely faulted. Quite a few people enjoy their LT v2, are there better mods out there? You betcha, do you need to spend 1,000$+ on buying them all, no sir. A Vamo is Variable Wattage and is only 30-40$ and available for 50$ as a kit with charger and batteries but you have to take in build quality the LT v2 is a very well built mod. There is a lot more to consider when buying a mod than not fitting the batteries you have or not fitting a clearo (of most types) without an adapter.
