Hello everyone!
GREAT forum here!
Anyway, I'm wanting BADLY to get out from under the grasp of analogs. I've been researching ecigs for roughly 2 weeks now and just placed an order for the Green Smoke yesterday. Now, I've read conflicting reviews on the Green Smoke. However, I didn't read any negative reviews on it until AFTER I ordered it lol How ironic huh?
So, now my research on it shows that there is no happy medium. You either friggen LOVE the Green Smoke, Or you LOTHE it.
Have YOU ever tried the GS? What is your personal experience? Am I even in the right section to be asking this question? I hope so, there's a lot to learn here.
I'd be thankful for any of you vets if you could take me by the hand and walk me through becoming experienced at ecigs.
Hey guys, I appreciate it.

I agree with swedishfish, you can def get a similar ecig for much cheaper.
I would try it though to see if ecigs are for you. Then you can go from there. Dont beat yourself up on not making a great first ecig purchase. Most peoples first purchase is not the smartest. I spent WAY to much on my first kit. If it starts to get you off cigs than its money well spent. The slim ecigs have small batteries that need to be recharged frequently. Most end up buying something better shortly after that gives much better battery life and is a better PV. I had to charge my first ecig constantly, but it did start getting me off ecigs so I was okay with it. Now I use an E-Power and get over a day on one battery.
Def check their return policy. Theres a LOT of great information on ECF and lots of great people that will help you and give great advice. Ask any questions that you have and youll learn alot quickly.

Where in PA are you from? Im from PA too. If your anywhere near me Id be glad to let you try mine so you have something to compare to the GS.

Goodluck and welcome to ECF!!

Very true Bethzilla.

Just stay off this board so you don't buy every juice that someone talks about and you'll be able to buy a pv.

The amount of money I spent trying to quit cigs, plus the fact that I able to quit is amazing. You can't put a price on that. And if you like vaping (which I'm sure you will) this won't be your last pv.

Hey Jes. I did the same thing as you - I thought I was being a good consumer by reading reviews and picking GreenSmoke. Here's the thing - they're not bad, just overpriced. I also found the options quite limited once I explored the world of vaping and saw all these amazingly flavored juices.

I used them to stop smoking, but quickly moved on to a Riva 510 from Liberty Flights. I sent the kit back within 30 days and got my money back with no problems, so I hold no hard feelings.

I can't really argue with any of these post. I think most of us have turned it into a hobby. My first e-cig was the original blu a few years ago and I loved it until I found this site and learned I could find so many better ecigs and add to my collection. I fell off the wagon for quite awhile, but jumped back in and now I want to buy a whole bunch more equipment. You may find that you will get more enjoyment out of an eGo or eGo clone because of battery life. No matter how many e-cigs I try, I end up going back to my Inferno (eGo) clone. Good luck and we are all in this together. Welcome to vaping and what could turn into a really fun hobby lol.

There is nothing wrong with Greensmoke except it's the incompatible threading.

KR808D-1 and KR808D-2 are near twins, the most powerful slim ecigs at 3.7v

KR808D-1 (the popular threading, supported by 3rd party cartomizer manufacturers), offers manual batteries
KR808D-2 aka E9 - the unpopular threading no 3rd party carto makers support, I think does not offer manuals

(most people here use and recommend manuals - harder to kill, easier to get a good hit)

A good accessory for KR808D-2 is a D2 to D1 adapter from LeCig.com so you can use all of the KR808D-1 cartomizers too (Vapor4Life, SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6, a variety of minor brands, and various blank cartomizers sold at multibrand vendors including clear reservoir cartos). (BTW I was not impressed with LeCig's cartos)

Natively for GS - I think AZSmokeFree and Vaporkings.com have blank cartos (one kind). And I think Red Dragon and Vapure (if they still exist) have compatible models and I think Smoke 51 Duo is a KR808D-2

Oh, thanks SO much! I will definitely keep that in mind. I would send it back based on what everyone is saying, except I do tend to agree with what people are saying about it helping to just get off of analogs. So, I'll probably just consider this lesson learned. Not to mention I'm excited as hell to have any ecig at all! lol So, I'll probably be contacting you for some batteries!
Thanks again, it's appreciated!
I started with green smoke. It's not a "bad" product BUT it is expensive and it doesn't work with anything else. If you do keep it , drop me a note cause i have TONS of batteries and stuff that I need to get rid of.

Good Luck !!

Oh how cool that would be!!!! I'm not in northern PA anymore, but I'm not really southern either, I'm stuck somewhere in the middle. But would consider a trip after winter!

So Cal
I Started on GS, it worked fine. The downfall was that I did not want to pay 15-17 bucks for their pre-filled carts. Sent it back in the 1st 30 days and got a full refund, no questions asked. Bought a Halo G6 and never looked back, I love filling my own carts with all the great flavors out there. BTW GS pays the same amount for their kits from China as the rest, 10-12 dollar neighborhood, So they are extremely over priced and you are stuck with their carts unless you find an adapter.
