Thats the biggest thing I dont like about the GS, as well as some other slim ecig brands. My first ecig was a "Smoke-Free" brand that was def overpriced, which I know now, but at the time didnt.
Its total BS that they purposely make it so it does not fit any other cartos/attys so you are FORCED to use theirs.
The Smoke-Free one was the same way. I even talked to them over the phone and they said they didnt know what threading type it was, etc, etc(BS). Most also flat out lie about how long their cartos last and how many cigs one carto is equivalent to. Smoke-Free told me that one carto was equal to 2 packs of cigs, which is total BS! Its not even close to that. They use that to make it sound like its a great deal. The guy told me that a 5-pack of the prefilled cartos was equal to a CARTON of cigs. So they make it seem like its a great deal, a carton of cigs is like $50, so your getting a great deal paying $15 for 5 cartos. Even then I didnt believe that one carto was 2 packs but I figured it would last longer than it did. One carto didnt even get close to lasting me a whole day, and when I smoked cigs, I smoked about a pack a day. So obviously the one carto= 2 Packs of cigs was a total lie. I got sick of paying $15 for 5 prefilled cartos and bought a new ecig only about a week after starting with the Smoke-Free one. While I was not happy that I was so quickly moving on, since I paid an arm and a leg for the Smoke-Free kit, it was def the right decision. My E-Power is a MUCH better ecig and was actually even cheaper than the Smoke-Free one(ridiculous) and I know Im def going to save more money by switching in the long run because now I can use a wide array of cartos and now I can fill my own cartos also, which is much cheaper.

Thats why I would maybe recommend sending it back because GS is the same way as Smoke-Free was. It really makes me mad because they dont care about anything but making money off you. There are many that do this. They sell a VERY basic ecig kit for a ridiculous price because they know they can. They know that most people that buy their kits frankly dont know any better and thats the people they go after and sell to.

Ha sorry for the rant, I just cant stand that some ecig companies purposely prey on the uninformed.

Oh and I also want to add one more thing to show how ridiculous/overpriced "Smoke-Free"brand is. After I got my E-Power, I was still trying to find a juice that I liked. I had already bought some juice from a few good vendors so I knew about what the prices for juices was.
I did actually like the juice that was in the Smoke-Free prefilled cartos, so I wanted to try to get that juice until I found something else I like. I went on Smoke-Free's website and saw that they sell the tobacco juice that they use in their cartos.

This is kind of hard to even believe, but they sell a 15ml bottle for $30!!!!!! That was the most ridiculous thing I ever saw.
And even more ridiculous, was the way they described it to make it sound like you were getting a great deal.

This is exactly what they have written on their website.

The savings formula when using e-liquid is amazing:
15ml = ~ 300drops
It takes 3-4 drops to refill a cartridge.
You get ~100 refills for only $29.95

HAHA! So they say the $30 price is actually a "great" deal because your getting "100" refills with one juice.
I called them just to question why their juice price was so expensive. The rep told me the same crap, youll get 100 refills, etc.
They also even went as far to say that this little 15ml bottle was a 3-MONTH SUPPLY, so $30 for 3 months is a "great" price.
I told the rep that I can buy a 30ml bottle of juice online for $10 from a good vendor and she responded by saying, "but our juice is purer by having a higher nicotine content." Their juice has no higher nic content than any other vendor. They have High, Medium, and Low. I told her I can get 24 or even 36mg juice for still $10, and she told me that wasnt true.
I honestly had trouble even believing that they really would say things like this. It blew my mind that they would lie like this just to make it sound like their products/deals were great. As you can guess, I didnt buy the juice.
They also sell spare batteries, which are dinky little slim ones for $55, as well as atomizers for $55. Both which cost only a few bucks for them. It makes me sick that companies like this do this to people.

Okay Im officially done ranting now. Have a great day everyone!!!:D

First timers will always go for slim e-cigs that look exactly like real ones no matter how you talk them out of it. I did. I progressed to 510 batts, then penstyles thinking that the longer it gets the better the battery life must be. I then bought fat Egos, with/without T. I felt satisfied finally, but then the issue became constant refilling because kits only go with atomizers with small cartridges and tanks. With the ones I have now, e-power and vv mod plus cartomizers that can be filled with enough juice to last you for hours, I'm still thinking of getting one that has a battery a tad higher in mah rating. But I think I just have to cut down on my vaping.

So this is what happens. You think you'll be fine with slim e-cigs for remedying the cravings. E-cigs don't initially satisfy cravings. Reason why you vape longer than smoking. You want to trick yourself that you're smoking a real cig -- till the battery dies after less than an hour.

Thank you SO much Sandy!!! I'm definitely goin to check that out! Very much appreciated!
Welcome, Jes! I think you will end up loving vaping. For me there was no withdrawals at all -- I started vaping one week ago. If you end up getting a different one, I really like the Kgo I got from Hoosier e-cigarettes. The battery charge lasts all day.
Good luck!

Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping, Jes! Buying a pv is like buying a computer - as soon as you finish ordering it there will be something new and exciting that comes out that will make you second guess your purchase! lol.

The Green Smoke kit is definitely overpriced and it's incompatible with other generic vaping supplies, but even after buying two different pv's (an eGo-T and a Volt which I LOVE), I still use my Green Smoke daily. It was responsible for helping me quit the stinkies, so I'll be forever grateful! They do have a 30-day money back guarantee, so you can return it if you choose, but they don't accept the cartomizers for refund. If you choose to keep it, you can buy blank cartos for a really good price at AZSmokefree.com . I've ordered several packs of cartos from them (under $7 for 5) and spare batteries (around $13), and their customer service is great and they ship really fast.

They also carry adaptors, so if you return your GS kit but keep the cartomizers, you can buy an adaptor to allow you to use the GS cartos on a pv with different threading.

I think you'll quickly find that pre-filled cartos (from GS anyway) can be an expensive way to go. They don't last anywhere near as long as they say (equal to a pack - HA - maybe 8 cigs) and your flavour choices are limited. There are a million different flavours of juice to try if you have blank cartos and it ends up being a lot cheaper in the long run (as long as you don't go on juice-buying sprees like I do!!)

Whichever way you go, just go for it! Making the switch to e-cigs will be the best decision you've ever made. Don't stress the purchase too much!
