You've definitely come to the right place. I am still relatively new to the knowledge-aspect of vaping but I've been vaping for over a year now (exclusively for about 4 months). This community will teach you everything you need to know, and some other stuff you don't even KNOW you need to know. ;) Welcome to the cool kids! Lol

Welcome to the ECF! I love this place, so many vapers (great people too)!
I too have the Nauti Mini (love it with the adjustable airflow)
VapeMail to be here today. YAY! full size Nauti with extra BVC coils too!
And an iLeaf 20Watt
And an airflow adapter for my protank II
And replacement coils!
And my wife is not happy (according to her I keep buying .... from online vendors). Looks like I'll have to go into stealth mode shopping at the local B&M with cash! LOL, at least they just started carrying mods and new juices!

I'm a new guy too, not a lot of experience with vaping gear but having some success.

I rejected the word quit in favor of the word control. You might smoke your last cig the day you start vaping or you might need more time to sort things out or, a few cigs a day might stick around indefinitely.

The day I started vaping my cigs delinced 75% to 4-5 per day, and stayed there. Call that 75% control. I decided to live with that while I sorted out the devices, liquids and habits I'd need to increase control. In the early weeks I couldn't tolerate the amount of nic I'd need in my system to rely entirely on vaping. The tobacco flavored liquids were a bad choice for me. The devices vary in the density of the vapor they can produce so the nic percentage depends a lot on the device, the coils, the power setting, etc. Appeasing the people I live with took some adjustments. (To minize the odor at home I went to a coffee flavor which they don't notice because they drink coffee.)

After 6 weeks I suspected the main reason for my couple of cigs a day was because I had them at hand so, finally, I allowed my cigs to run out. It's been three days since I've smoked a cig. If there was a cig in the house I'd smoke it but I feel no temptation to go buy some. Also, the day I ran out of cigs instead of buying more I stopping at a vape store and picking up a cool new toy, an Aspire Atlantis tank and a IVP 2S power supply to back up my N mini and spinner 2, same as you are waiting for.

After six weeks experience I enjoy vaping so backsliding back to tobacco-only seems very unlikely. I want 100% control sooner rather than later because I plan to be politically active on e-cig issues.

Thanks for all the welcomes and advice. I've actually never seen a forum for any subject this active. I would think that a community like this will help a lot, so I am happy to have found the ECF. For now, I have my plan and I'll go at it dealing with any issues along the way.

sofarsogood, I enjoyed reading your post. It reminded me of when I tackled drinking a few years back. I used to drink a case of beer every night. So now, since I wasn't able to control the volume I was consuming when I did drink. I control when I drink. Lately it's been once every other month. It's been a process as I expect smoking to be. Not necessarily a taper down but more of a decision. For example, if there was alcohol in my house before it got consumed. I imagine if I have cigarettes in my possession then I'll smoke them. I've smoked for 15 years but I have never increased the amount I was smoking. I currently and have always smoked 1 carton in a month's span.

Anyway, enough about all that. This community seems great and I look forward to going through the journey and experiences of vaping with all of you. Thanks again for the warm welcome.
