I got introduced to blu about a month ago by a friend and began vaping by myself since. Never smoked cigarettes. The first time I drew I inhaled and it was a terrible feeling. I quickly learned not to inhale but to keep the vapor in my mouth (like with cigars) and found it much more pleasant plus you can actually taste the flavor which is what I enjoy most about vaping. I inhaled accidentally again a few days ago and, again, hated the kick-in-the-chest feeling. I have noticed: I'm coughing more than usual (have a irritated ticklish feeling in my lungs, not painful), when I'm drawing and exhaling the tip of my tongue feels tingly for about a minute, and the times I inhaled the vapor I experienced minor and temporary chest pain/tightness.
Is this all normal for people starting out vaping? Thanks

Thanks for the welcome!
I figured, it's probably my body just not used to it. I've wanted to try 0 nic since I'm not an analog smoker and really just want the taste and textire but am having a really hard time finding them in stores. I think the mg for the disposables I'm using are between 17-24 so it's fairly high for a nonsmoker, I think.
I started mostly because I knew people who do it and gave it a try. It's mostly social and for pleasant feelings.

Were you inclined to smoke, but just decided not too because of costs and health and advertising?

Hello everyone! I'm new to vaping, just bought a starter kit today, Kanger Evod. I am a smoker of fifteen years at a pack and a half a day. This will be another attempt at quitting and hopefully a successful one. The juice I bought is Fuzion Vapor Roundhouse with Cream 1.2%, Its pretty good stuff. I have tried e-cigs in the past to try and quit but it was a fairly new thing and didnt work for me because of the coughing due to high nic level and couldn't really find a juice that was satisfying to me, I think these problems came because of lack of knowledge by me and my supplier. Now that I found a nic level I can enjoy without hacking up a lung, im in search of some good economical juices. I have been searching for sample's either free (which is next to impossible) or boxes. Please, if anyone knows of any good deals or places for sample stuff please let me know.
Thanks and I hope to chat with some of you in the future!:)

No reason to vape if you never smoked. Most of us vape after having smoked cigs for years, so the "tingling" and what not is something we don't really notice because of all the crap we've had in our lungs from years of smoking.

That said, blu's are cheap low-powered garbage cigalikes. However, they are probably really safe because of that. The reason most people here don't use them is because they just don't give a satisfying vape to those of us who are used to real cigs.

I wouldn't be concerned about anything health related. Of course, it's always possible you might have an allergy to something in the liquid, but that's about as much concern as you should have with such a device. Moreover, your nicotine intake is probably pretty low on such a device, so that's likely not an issue.

I would only be concerned if your chest pain/tightness persisted after a vape session. If it's temporary and mild, it's probably nothing to worry about and probably just a result of you being a vape virgin. (I am no doctor, so this is not medical advice).

BTW, do you really need to vape? I would prefer it if only ex-smokers vaped, but I guess it's inevitable curious people would try it.

Ok first let me say one thing to some of the people posting in this thread then I will address the issue of the op.

Shame on you for jumping down his back about wanting to vape and not being a prior smoker. Some people vape to help with weight loss and he has chosen this over a cigarette. We should be happy for him and help him out. I can't believe some of you.

To diamond. That feeling is the nicotine like some have said you really should find the 0 nicotine ejuice and use that. Some advice from a nicotine slave is that you don't want to go down that route. I have been vaping over a year and still working my self off nicotine. Started at 18 mg and I am down to 6mg it's a long road. Do your self a huge favor and get some of the 0 nicotine juice.
