Well I'v been smoking since I was 19, now 25. My cousin went to vegas and brought back a ecig but in Canada at the time the juice was nearly impossible to find, they only had the disposables in Fort McMurray, AB.

Over the past 2 years e cig shops have blown up in my city, so about a year ago I got a crappy little pen looking one for 40 bucks, used it for a couple of weeks but I just didn't find it worked well at all, not enough smoke, etc. 2 months ago I decided to try it again, went for a better setup bought a eleaf istick 50w with a artic tank. The day before I got the ecig I was smoking about 15 - 20 cigs a day, the next week after I bought my ecig I was smoking 3 cigs a day, the next week I was smoking no cigs. I couldn't believe how easy it was to quit, I LOVED cigarettes, I swear you wont find anyone that loved them as much as me, I tried to quit since I started, i'm now 25 and still blown away at how easy it was to quit, I feel 10000000x better, got way more energy in the day, motived me more to take lifting seriously, lungs feel clean, taste and smell also way better.

Welcome to the forums! Your experience is like mine. I tell everyone "I quit accidentally". I say that, but it did take a minute amount of effort.

One thing I have noted, was a few months after I stopped, the phlem seemed to come back. *IF* this happens to you, it's just the old tar/gunk clearing itself from the lungs. It was temporary. Just wanted to put that out before you notice anything.

I remember when I first quit, it was like a sensory overload. I was smelling ice cream shops from 1/4th a mile away... I'd walk into a grocery store, and smell the wood at the registers....I was "hypersensitive" to smells for a short while.. then I guess my brain started to ignore them again. I can still smell much better than I did when I smoked, have more energy... overall, it's a great feeling.

Congrats on quitting. I couldnt believe how easy it was myself. I started vaping cause i was doing construction in a hospital and had to walk a mile to smoke. After three days my analogs tasted like crap. Wasnt even trying to quit. So long big tobacco:)

Brian and Mike, WELCOME! You guys are gonna love ECF. I have only been vaping a few months, but if it wasn't for the research I did here, I could have wasted a lot of money on junk vapes..been dissatisfied...and gone back to smoking a pack a day.
I haven't been here long, but I think of ECF as a TEAM. Members come together here to help eachother..It is a great place to hang out and learn!

I smoked for 30 years, longer than you have even been alive. I mean smoking was there for me during every life circumstance. So sick. Lol. First time I tried an ecig four years ago, a cig alike, I fell in love even though it wasn't a great ecig. Things have progressed so much, thank God. So happy you are vaping and off the cigs but yea, I thought I was gonna die smoking before Ecigs. Since then I have wanted to let everyone that smokes know how amazing Ecigs are. :)
